Are you still dealing with your rotation/tendonitis situ?
Where is Bobbi?! (and if you say vacationing in the Caribbean I will hunt you down)

I was just wondering the same thing!
I didn’t disappear. haha. I have been lifting every day but it’s been a lot of repair work.
I already have tendonitis in both shoulders (bicep tendon) + internal rotation - which I’ve been addressing - now I’m getting tendonitis in my elbows (tricep tendon) and recently my hands/wrists have started giving me trouble.
I’m not saying this to whine I’m just putting out there all the crap that I’m working on right now that is holding me back from lifting heavy.
On the plus side I had another girl come up and squeeze my arms the other night…haha tiger woods fist pump!
Right, like we’d even think you’d whine. Thanks for checking in. I was getting worried is all. geez.
fist bump You’re the mac.
Hope you get all those issues sorted out soon. Tendonitis doesn’t sound like any fun.
I’m not surprised you’re getting attention for those guns, you buff hottie! ![]()
Are you ready for this? http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/2010/03/repair-8.html
damn…i got tired reading that Bobbi.
glad you are working so hard to address those issues. can i ask you what kind of issues you are having with your hands/wrists?
i mentioned i have what may be a ganglion cyst in my wrist? i’ve suffered with baaad pain in my wrists/hands and some serious shoulder issues too. then doc said i probably had tendonitis in my elbows. another reason i backed off on trying to progress on the DL<<<which seemed to help the wrists for sure and the elbows too.
hope you get it all worked out. sure doesn’t look like it’s slowing you down though!
That is a shitload of deadlifting! And that’s a “repair” workout? You’re a beast!
fucking deadlift marathon - how’s your back feeling today?
N- Just a light, happy sore in my middle back and forearms. The rolling and stretching between sets really cuts down on soreness.
T- Which tendon in your elbow was getting tendonitis? Mine is both of my tricep tendons so they aren’t affected during the DL. I was dealing with some trigger point/pressure issues in my palms which I addressed in tcell and my wrists and fingers get generally achy. I’m hoping its just the extra recent work and/or crappy cold weather so it will go away soon.
Nice, nice pulling session. I just love to see how you are getting after it in a BIG way despite some adversity.
What adversity?
I moved all the big stuff today - bed, couch, tables, squat rack…all the little stuff tomorrow.
Tendonitis = adversity to me. But perhaps not to you, you BEAST.
You gonna tell us the moving story, or will I have to make something up?
haha cancer is adversity. tendonitis is…to be expected.
Just moving down the road…no biggie but that’s all the lifting I did today.
Moving sucks IMO and its moving the little shit that sucks most. Would rather carry 1 giant piece of furniture 1 time, than make 20 trips to the car for a bunch of plastic drawers for all your bathroom accessories (which you probably have tons of - that’s a joke btw). High rep vs. low rep?
Just shows me how little I need.
Finished moving!
Had another solid bodyweight lift tonight. I’m really getting into this… http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/2010/03/repair-9.html
Sounds like a great lifting session! Those TRX handles must be great for upping the intensity on bodyweight stuff.
Yea I keep finding more things to do with them. I like that they feel like rings but you can do more because you can use your legs to assist.
aaaand I just took a bunch of awesome progress pics…I would post them up here but I don’t want them to end up in SAMA…lol
