Love your thread RC. Great workouts you have. I’m envious of your metabolism too! Dang…wish I could eat icecream.

Keep rawk’n.

Very inspirational & motivational!

So I bought this GT hardtail size 17 and went on a trail I’d never done before. I slid on a hill, missed the bridge and went headfirst into a ravine. Luckily I only have a jammed finger, sore back and some scrapes to show for it. Now I realize I need a size 14-15 so I have to sell the bike. Bah. I also realized I’m out of condition so I need to step up on that.[/quote]

Hey, that must have been scary! :open_mouth: Glad you are ok!

Do you do a lot of mountain biking? Are there good trails near you? I’ve always enjoyed it but never found the time to seek out trails and ride often enough to get better. Good luck selling the bike.

I think I’m going to keep it as a back up. There are some great trails at Alum Creek on the north side of Columbus. If you like riding you should definitely check it out!

Anyone else think deload weeks are boring as hell?

Sitting steady at 132. Eating this much sucks but it’s getting easier. Deloading is boring so I’m ready to lift heavy again next week. I’ve been on my bike everyday this week. I’m still looking for a good downhill/trail bike so I can start getting crazy again. I’m thinking I’m going to add some bodyweight exercises into the routine this next cycle. I did a couple pullups yesterday but it was tough. I don’t want to lose bodyweight strength as I get heavier. I need to do a waist measurement to make sure that doesn’t get out of line. I’ve never been above 28.

Just went over the bars again!

Going to have a nasty bone bruise. This one tingled forever.

Ouch!

I mountain bike…um…agressively…and this is the second time this week I’ve been tossed over the handlebars.

Biked a few miles yesterday over light trails. Managed to stay on the bike. All the cuts are healing up quickly. I should be able to get some heavy weight in my palm again here soon.

First day back heavy baby!

sloppy. lots of leaning forward.

105x5

Realized on the last set that when I keep my elbows down the bar slides all over my shirt so this time I just kept them up and felt more solid.

110x14

Yea, some of them are cut high but this is a big improvement over 105x11 so I was pretty stoked.

I was so tanked going in it was hard to get pumped up. Everything felt heavy. That 95 would’ve gone up like cake on a normal day. Oh well, I got the reps.

Hiked 10 miles in 2.5 hours on Saturday and have the sunburn to prove it!
