I’d have to put up the 80’s right now…have done 70’s for 3, but wrist strength fails on large DB’s…I’ll wrap heavy and maybe get a rep or two from 75’s, but my BB bench beats DB’s hands down.

haha I’m no where near a meet. My squat is looooooow. And I’m gunning for the APF raw record bench of 140 in the 123s. You should be able to get the 60s up with a little work - are you finally taking bench more seriously?? ![]()

That’s interesting that your wrists fail on the dbs but no problem with the bb. My wrists hate dips but are fine otherwise - I guess everyone has their vice! Do you regularly db bench?
yea, but it varies between, DB floorpress/flat bench/incline and declines, but never for maxes

As for dips, I can rep out +25 for 1 x 8 or 3 x 5. I can get 3 reps at +30 and 1 rep at +35. I’ll test it again in the next few weeks.

That’s pretty impressive! Especially consider you weigh, what, 110, 115? You do realize that now I’ll have to do 35 next week just because you can. haha. Do you have any videos of your dips?

That sounds about right w/ the 50s. But yes, i still do bench regularly just DBs though. Last I benched I did 6x45. 45 has always been my sticking point.
We’ll see - gives me something to work towards, especially since I vehemently dislike BB benching and avoid it like the plague.

barbell bench max is 150 but really not sure about throwing the 75lbs around. lifts just don’t feel the same.
edit: that was a very easy PR. obviously there is space to move up soon.
