Bobbi's Got a Brand New Bag

Alright I skimmed your log, checked your blog and watched some videos. Love the work that you have going on here, very impressive indeed. I am currently chasing double my bw on the deads too… I am planning on testing by the end of the year.

Let me take a seat right here and watch the show!

Uh yeah, 225 was total cake. Great work!

I wanna play!

Welcome to the party! What’s your max right now?

You want to joint the race to 2xbw? Come along! Where are you now?

Set a PR on reverse band bench and pullups. If you can a higher percentage of your bw on pullups I want to know! http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/2010/12/westside-powerlifting-me-bench-pr.html

loser bares all on tvixen? haha

Um let me think, I believe that my max last attempt was 260… let me check into that now. Btw I am at 140lbs, but in a week or so I am going to start cutting some weight. After I finish this cycle of 5/3/1. I will confirm my max deads and then let you know.

Um I did a max deadlift in August & was at 245lbs. A long ways off at that rate… 35lbs. I am planning on maxxing out next week. Otherwise the goal carries over to next year

What a coincidence that you, frenchie and I are all 35lbs away from 2x bodyweight. I have the highest percentage to add but I accept the challenge  The race is on!

Video of my bench PR from yesterday http://bobbiskai.blogspot.com/2010/12/video-reverse-band-bench-press-145-x-2.html

Solid effort!

How is your back feeling today? It was an awesome DL, but looked like a lot of pulling UP, instead of back…I spose form isn’t perfect when working with max effort though…

Im tempted to join in on the race but, hmm, truth be told I don’t really know HOW to train for this stuff, lol…just adding weight to the bar each week I guess. I don’t know how much I weigh, but if I had to guess 2x bw would be around the 330-340 range(damn!)

Your 225 pull looked awesome! Congrats again. Now, I’m loving your log and all this focus on DLs and pullups. Two of my absolute favorite things to do.

I didn’t do the math but I’ve done pullups with 30lbs at a bw of about 117. pull ups third set of 3 + 30lbs October 2010 - YouTube

damn nadia… three reps w 30 lbs! that’s serious!!

i was scuuuurred for ur toesies.

Whoa Nadia! That’s awesome! Love the little mishap at the end - good save! HAH!

My last max was 225 and I’m weighing in at 130. I’d love to get a 2BW DL, but I just started this whole O-lifting business…hmm…probably shouldn’t go maxing out on stuff…but you know I LOVE a friendly competition!

Nice bench and pullups! much win

I have no pullup talent. still using bands and stuff.

Nadia - your calves are wicked! and you’ve got my respect, those pullups were tough bitches…

Nadia - you have some killer calves girl!

Dip PR and starting to get back up there with the DBs. Can anyone bench their bodyweight or close to it in dumbbells? For me I would need to put up the 65s. I think it’s doable.

strong workout overall
and very nive PR.

most I’ve db benched are 50’s. therefor Kimba’s weight. I would need to bench 80’s to be close to my weight. I do not see that in my near future.

Yeah, those dips are coming right back. I feel you about to pass me up, Dip Queen.

Yea 80s would be pretty tough. What’s your barbell bench?
