He was only serious in the sense that he didnt want the lady near him. He wasn’t really hiding behind his girl for protection but to only make a joke out of it while getting the point across to the crazy woman to back the fuck off .

I agree that he’s been hugged and ran up on much worse than that before, and even by some guys, and he never acted like that much of a pompus ass.
He was an ass about it although he was trying to be funny. That woman did have a crazy/creepy vibe though. Maybe she had some nasty BO too.

Funny or not, it still looks pretty pathetic. But to be totally serious, there have been many times where I thought he was gonna completely LOSE IT with some of the dumber contestants. I’d say, even though I started this and called him a pansie, he’s probably due a freak-out or two.

I think you should cut him a little slack. Although I do not watch the his show, I did watch the video clip. He appears to be somewhat frail (non meat eater). A google search stated that he is 82 years old. When I am around the elderly I try to be careful not to hug or shake hands too hard. At his age a simple fall could be a serious injury. That was a fairly large woman. Just my opinion.
What was he supposed to do, smack her in the mouth and then watch as she broke every bone in his body? He’s practically a fossil.
