I used to watch that show on school holidays. I would say that the woman was among the craziest-looking contestants. Barker definitely looked afraid of her. I guess his Beauties serve a purpose other than to show off prizes and being sexually harassed by him.
Bob Barker has a Bad Back and didn’t want that lady hanging on his neck and hurting his back.
He held his position without pushing on the agitated female. I think he was worried about how excited she was and didnt want to catch one. in reality he probably wasn’tgoing to catch one on national tv especially that the female just won a car. He might have recieved an agressive bear hug at the worst.

I wouldn’t call hiding behind one of his female assistants and telling her “don’t let her get me” holding his position.
While I considered age (obvious) I didn’t know about he health issues until some of you posted them. I could see that being a reason for this. That is, if he was serious and not joking like some people have suggested.
Yea, I agree…This isn’t the Bob Barker of the 80’s…the guy is 82 years old for crying out loud. That wildabeast coulda crippled him.

bob barker is the king. who else on earth has been on tv as long as he has ? kings can do whatever they want.
Bob did look like he was trying to avoid any heavy body contact from the 'fem.
Had she shook his hand without all the excitement, he would not have moved.
INstead he had a president bush like presense, where such engages with a highly excited subject was to be avoided.
Thats what he was doing. He is getting old, thought htis lady was too excited and didn’t know what the hell she was going to do.
