Since my employer has been cutting my hours lately, I need some alternative source of income. I was thinking about donating blood once a week or something like that.
My problem is that I’m not sure how to go about finding a place that compensates me for donating blood. There’s a Life Source by my house, but they never stop calling whenever somebody donates blood. Are there designated places for things like this?
Also, do I have to be a certain age? I’m currently 17, so I would think that I would have to be at least 18 to donate blood without parental consent. Any suggestions or ideas?
I don’t know how the US works, but in Canada, you’re only allowed to donate whole blood every 2 months, so if the rules there are similar, I don’t think it will be lucrative.

I do lasma for 70 a week for two 1 hour long visits. def stocks my frezer an supps cabinet.
I did it once in college, but I was so ashamed and felt like such a low life afterwards that I never went back. Prepare to sit in a waiting room filled with crackheads and be treated like the worst scum on earth by everybody there.
Like someone else said, see if you have a Biomat near you. They gave me $35 and I think you can do it twice a week.

Rock knows whats up. Probably half the people I know at my school all donate plasma twice a week, it’s only 215 a month, but for people whose schedules are too retarded for a real job it’s easy money.

Lol
I was there yesterday morning before my workout and there were a bunch of hookers there.
Everyone was nice though. My center is right next to the uni so they know who’s just a broke student vs a methwhore.

I don’t see what the big fucking deal is. I need money. I donate blood. I get money. I save somebody’s life. Repeat. Problem? I think not.

The problem is that you’re a whore.
A whore is someone that sells their body for money.
I just find it kind of disgusting to demand money for helping save a dying person’s life by sitting in a comfy chair for 15 minutes. But to each his own.

That is pretty much it.
Do what you need to do right now. Fuck what anyone else says.

That’s called selling blood, son.

Alright, then no blood. Plasma?

I used to sell plasma in college for weed some times. One hour and set for the weekend. Better than a job. Just Google sell plasma and see what pops up.

It’s not like I’ll be going into a donation center and hold a .45 to the nurse’s head and demand money for my blood, plasma, etc.

The fact is that its selfish. The only reason why you’re thinking about giving blood at the moment is to make money. However, when you had plenty of hours at your job, I don’t think you were too worried about donating blood to be a good person.
