For all of you, both old and new, I thought this was a very interesting answer to every question that has and will be asked.
Also, for those of you who don’t already do so, reading Shugart’s articles is a must, no matter what your goals may be.

i’m surprised that article has so few replies. the point he makes is very important! not just in lifting, but in life and career, too.
wish i was better with words so i could convey my enthusiasm more clearly.
Almost all of Shugart’s stuff I’ve seen is trash, but this was good.

To each his own on the rest of his writing, but I thought this article was especially pertinent to the newer members of a lifting and nutrition centered lifestyle.
So many people come here asking to many questions and expecting to many special tricks and “magic bullet” solutions. If you ask any of the more advanced, successful members on this site, I guarantee that they have tried a large variety of diets and lifting regiments, and over time have found what works for them INDIVIDUALLY.
Everyone responds differently, both mentally and physically, and instead of repeatedly asking what to do and what to change, you should go and find it for yourself.
