Blocking Cortisol

Other than oranges, which I recently learned about, how can we fight cortisol? Other than controlling stress, what can we eat/take for this?

If looking for supplements, 11-oxo is one I hear decent results from, though its very expensive. As far as nutrition, one tip would be to make sure you have enough glucose in your body.

Rhodiola is a fantastic neurotransmitter adaptogen and cortisol regulator.

where did you read/learn about the relation between oranges and cortisol

This sounds cool and i would like to read the article

Why are we always wanting to completely block or inhibit estrogen and cortisol?

I see these posts every so often and I don’t understand. Unless you have excess cortisol or estrogen, you need both of them for your survival.

The best way to limit cortisol, to healthy levels, unless you have a clinical problem, is relaxation, sleep, and minimizing the use of stimulants.

I’m interested in this as well.

QFT. Anybody who jumps on the anti-cortisol/estrogen bandwagon simply doesn’t know what it is they’re trying to eradicate from their body. It’s there for a reason. Supplement-peddling scare tactics are a dangerous thing.

i take a cortisol blocker during specific times and it does work to visibly reduce abdominal fat. it’s really the only place I carry any bad weight, whatsoever. Oh, and my ass (or that might just be all the deadlifting?). haha
