Blind Faith on CNN.com

Video of a woman being stoned to death because she married outside of her religion in Iraq.

Wow.

The days I wish I had a mini-gun resembling that in Terminator to kill every last one of them. Damn blind faith.

A) No link.
B) Christians have done evil shit to.
C) Killing them all would make us equally as wrong, if you can’t see that you’re retarded.

That doesn’t change the fact that this particular event is wrong.

I don’t know about that. If I saw a group of people killing another human being, I don’t think I would be wrong to kill them.

I saw the video and you don’t want to see it. It’s really bad. They drag this girl out stone her and mock as she is being murdered surrounded by people taking videos and pictures with their phones. It’s just sick.

It really does make you want to pump that crowd full of hot lead unmercifully. There is no hell that is hot enough to accommodate such people. CNN isn’t set up to provide a link to their videos, but I’ll see if I can find it. I am sure it’s on youtube.com by now. Watch at your own risk, it’s horrible.

Here’s the link:

He said kill them all. I believe he was referring to all Islams, if he meant just the fuckers that killed the lady, then I apologize.

And no, it doesn’t excuse this action. But it does make accusing the entire religion hypocritical.

I thought he was referring to all Islamics.

I’d beat their skulls in with a metal bar. And i’ve seen the vid.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?! This girl was only seventeen years old that’s like a fucking high school junior! This wasn’t done by a despot or terrorists this was done by ordinary civillians!

Why are we giving them democracy we should have let them all rot under Saddam’s rule. My god did you hear her screaming… If I see an incident like that taking place when I serve my tour, and I sincerely hope I get the chance, I will call in a fucking napalm strike on that entire village or district or wherever and burn all the fuckers down. Including the “civillians” who were just watching and getting a boner.

Shit like this does NOT happen in America. A whole fucking crowd of people do not murder someone in America and get away with it. Fuck the Iraqis. Let’s fight an all out conventional war and bomb them into surrender and set up a pro U.S. dictatorship. These people do not deserve democracy.

The girl wasn’t muslim, and I presume her murderers weren’t either.

The report clearly states she was Yazidi: Yazidism - Wikipedia

She fell in love with a Sunni muslim, but she, and her killers, were not of that faith. The Yazidi are a Kurdish faith. The Kurds were the ones who actually welcomed your troops in 2003 and were dancing in the streets in celebration.

I’m all for denouncing religious nuts and condemning the evil of distorted religion; but let’s not automatically attribute all atrocities to muslims out of habit.

WTF?!

I wish I could be there with an automatic and plenty of reloads.

I’ve never killed anyone before (or even close), but this seems like it would have been a good exception.

This is some evil shit. Just evil.

Thank you for clearing that up. I feel quite foolish now, and I wish to apologize if my comment offended anyone.

Question: Are Kurds not Islamic? What is the Kurdish faith about, if not a Islamic sect (as I thought it was)? I know plenty about the Sunni and Shiites, but I don’t think I know enough about the Kurds beyond the whole them actually liking us thing…

Another article on the matter that should clear a lot of things up:

My understanding of it is that while the majority of Kurds are islamic, a minority of them are from other faiths. Yazidism, from the Wikipedia article, is a middle eastern faith that pre-dates Islam. Its seems to have borrowed part of Persian and Islamic faith along the way.

Unfortunately, they seem to have kept the ancient “shall surely be put to death” directives of most of those primitive faiths.

The best outcome for this atrocious murder is that by being exposed to the world media, mass outrage and condemnation should eventually force them to evolve and adapt their faith to the modern world. There’s no place for a religion that condones the stoning of children in the 21st century. (Or in any other century, for that matter, but we can’t change the past.)

Why is the solution to killing always more killing?

How is your summary execution of the group, the village or the whole population morally any different from their own “honor killing?”

Those of you who call themselves Christians, where’s the forgiveness? What happened to “judge not?”

The Iraq war supporters keep repeating how evil Saddam was for gassing the Kurds; and here we are, a stoning later, and a whole bunch of you now wish they could outdo him and complete the genocide.

Once you’ve implemented your solution, does someone who’s outraged by it get to slaughter you and your community in turn?

Haha! You do realise that the Daily Mail is the worst 'news’paper we have in the UK? It makes Fox News look outstanding.

really? It was the only “seemingly” REALLY good article that explained the situation. Hell, it went as far as to mention the stoners’ faith.

I never said it was a solution, I said that’s what is makes you want to do. An emotional response. If it makes you feel any better I have the same emotional response for anybody abusing children, raping women, hurting innocent people in general.

Like the roving gangs in the Congo who gang rape young girls and their mothers. The atrocities in the Dar fur region in Sudan, child molesters New York, the gang members who car jacked a lady and raped her and left her for dead in Snellville, GA, etc.

I have unimaginable contempt for such people. I don’t care what part of the world or what they believe in. I can’t help it I am an emotional person. Would I kill such people? If they were in the act or about to commit a horrible act, I’d have no problem with it.

Other than that, I’d have to let plain old justice take care of it what ever that may be. My only comfort is a matter of faith, that what goes around comes around. So you if you doing something despicable, watch the fuck out.

How do you know they were stoners? That is an insult to pot heads everywhere.

In regards to C). Does that mean when we were killing Nazis back in World War II, that it made the Allied soldiers Nazis, too?
