Yeah, this week’s episode made sitting through the last few month’s crap-fest worth it.
I haven’t had a chance to sit down and catch up yet(267-271), but I mean we all knew the Ichigo/Ulquiorra fight was amazing from the manga(but that doesn’t mean I still can’t wait to watch it when I get a couple hours).

I found the Ulq/Ichigo fight disappointing. The manga made it seem much more meaningful. I feel like the animators butchered what could have been a classic scene, I mean for crying out loud they censored Uryuu losing his hand!

Thank you for being the other person in the world who thinks this way about Berserk. The first episode was the most interesting, then they get you to appreciate the characters and it goes nowhere. I was pretty pissed.
I didn’t read the manga, and I think they did a good job of showing that his hand was destroyed. I have always hated Ishida, but I don’t think I need to see him get his hand blown off.

The anime is not the whole story, the anime stop at around chapter 90 of the manga, theres 312 chapters and it’s still going on
The first episode of the anime is post eclipse (pissed off gatts that doesn’t care about shit but killing apostles because of griffith)

You don’t see it get blown off in the manga either, he gets shown flying back from the impact of a blow and BAM you see he’s missing a hand.

I think he’s referring to how in the anime he’s shown with a broken hand and not a completely missing one.
272 I love how Ishida had a sword ran through him and Orihime runs to Ichigo, that gave me the major lulz. And would someone fucking 86 Yammy already what a tool. Atleast Dragon Ball Z had the common curtiousy to take Nappa out as soon as Goku got back. And one last thing, if I were Ichigo and had to hear Orihime say my name THAT many times…omg I would rip her tits off. This show is really starting to drag its feet(not even counting the filler) the need to get on with it.
Terrible show. This and Naruto is queer.
