In response to the Most badass char in Bleach, id have to say a very close running between Kenpachi and Captain commander. Kenpachi’s half ass bankai (his 2handed swing) was a bit of a let down, but his personality is just so epic.
Full Metal Alch is also a fantastic anime for those looking for some new stories. The manga itself is still going, and the cartoon basically branched away and finished, great ending too. So great people got pissed about how it ended and so they had to create a movie finishing the story haha.
There is a new on going FMA series that follows the story of the manga all the way: Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (2009) - Anime - AniDB and http://eclipse.speedsubs.org/projects/alchemist
FMA? What’s that?
Kidding. I’ve been up with that since episode 1, it’s a great story. Episode 52 should be ready for download later today.
Aizen is the most badass character. The fact he plans things for what seems like centuries in advance is just insane. He’s also extremely patient with this distractions to throw his opponents off.
We don’t even know what his bankai is yet and he’s pretty much …
There are a remarkable number of people in this thread who are seemingly unperturbed that in that third video, a hundred-meter long angelic flying cherub-faced caterpillar barfed on a dude and ate him. And the dude spent like thirty seconds poking sacs of something.
I mean I’m not going to judge something before I watch it, especially because those first two clips were badass, but that was possibly the most Japanese thing I have ever seen.

That’s basically the epitome of the character wielding that weapon.
Latest episode info and manga translations. I got the end of the episodes and started reading the translated manga and I have to admit, the manga is a lot better. The problems that plague a lot of anime is that they are trying to extend a lot of scenes - aka the DBZ phenomena of “vibrating” characters when scared/shocked, angry, upset, powering up, being completely powered, and sometimes just because. It almost seems like a comic book anyway when they are freezing on a single panel for 30 seconds and slowly panning across it.

The manga will always outclass the anime, but the anime is largely about convenience for me.
Yes! Bleach is awesome. I bet the reason a percentage of this site started training was because they aspired to be like fictional characters… for me it was Goky ;). Oh and Kenpachi is the most badass character hands down!
Bleach and naruto are both great shows to watch (when its not that filler shit). im glad theyre both finished with the filler because shit is about to go down in both of them (i watch eng subbed, and read the manga). as far as the original question Kurosaki’s hollow is the most badass:
I’m gonna go with Byakuya being the most Badass of any character in Blecah I’ve seen yet. He’s just the epitomy of unyielding awesomeness this side of Superman.
That said, I just finished the Soul Society arc. All the main characters are back at home safely. Is the Bount arc worth watching? Or do I just skip to ep 110 when the anime hooks up with the Manga again?
