Damn man, those legs are looking big! You’re doing great man! Time to build that muscle!!
Phase II starts today… some thoughts as I begin my muscle growing adventure…
1.) I’m flexible as fuck.
I’ve always been flexible, but in the past I had blobs of fat pushing against or forming a pad from allowing me to show my true flexibility.
I can touch the bottom of my foot to my face.
I can nearly place my palm flat on the floor in front of me when I do bent over stretching.
2.) My knee is a bit sore.
I talked to someone who did this program before and they said I’d love it, they just never finished it because they hurt their knee some where around phase II.
Odd, I’m having some knee tenderness right around Phase II… We’ll see if I have any issues with front squats.
3.) I love girls…
Especially drunk college girls. I went to my friend’s place this weekend to catch up and see some friends and there were just piles of fresh young college girls that were into me. To quote Forgetting Sarah Marshall, “I need to B my L on someone’s T’s”.
Great night.
4.) I wish Rugby started up sooner
I went to my friend’s place to watch the first home game of the season, ever. I know a couple of guys that are playing and I know the guy who started the club sport up. Wow, I finish up school and then they decide to start up a sport that would let me unleash the inner beast…
Oh well, I don’t think it’d be fair anyway.
5.) I need to pick up a physical hobby
Sure lifting is great, but I’m using this to achieve goals, I look at it as my way to get into the shape I’ve never been in (which is better every day) but I think I’d like to start working out for a cause, a sport, something.
As I look toward the future state of my body I begin to think about how I should maintain it, I can’t be pushing this hard forever, and I never planned on it; hwoever, I did plan to stay active and keeping in great shape. Crossfit was my inital idea, but I really want to interact with others and have that support in the gym or on a field.
I’m thinking grappling class, or some sort training… I read an article on here that said something abotu accepting your body type and working to what it will do best…
Alright, I should be playing football… So what does that mean… bulk? I dunno, but as I move forward I’m going to really take that to heart and try to focus on achieving the best body for my size and shape.

No knee pain or anything, maybe just slept funny the other day…
I see lots of potential here to develop some beast like muscle definition.

Well I think you have a great foundation to take those quads through the roof! Keep at it and you’ll be starting one of those damn, I can’t find pants that fit threads, serously, don’t do that…you get the idea.
I hear you on that wanting to find a sport or a way to apply your new body. I wanted to get into shape to play better golf, I’m way past golf shape, maybe softball or something.
Yea, I was doing my step ups today… 3 sets of 16 holding 45 plates in each hand… oh ok… next round I’ll have to hold 65lb DBs cuz 45 was a joke.
Sore… for once in my life… not too bad but I can tell my body is saying fuck you right now.
I stepped on the scale this AM for shits and giggles… 227
4lbs up from my inital weigh-in prior to Phase I… thats no good.
Oh well, I still hold to my idea that I’m not going by weight I’ll go by pictures pre-PII and post-PII then compare after PIII
We’ll see what happens… I’m confident that phases II and IV will be sucesses but I’m a bit weary of Phase I and III, these cookie cutter programs seemingly assume you’re the Fattest SOB on the planet so any movement will make you lose weight.
oh well I’ve made some giant leaps in the past year I’ll allow this program to fall a little short before I start shredding myself to bits on December 8th…
Glad I get a day off… I’m actually not too sore… just worn out… now I did work 11 hours yesterday and got to the gym 2 hours later than normal… but I’m pretty sure this phase II is kicking my ass
For the record single leg deadlifts are a pain in the fucking ass.
226 flat this morning… my scales fucked lol there is no way I’m losing weight, and I definitely shouldn’t be…
all more reason to let pictures do the talking.
Single leg DLs do suck but they seem to work really well, especially ROM DL’s, those will rip the hammi’s up, maybe I’ll do those tonight instead of regular ROM DLs.
I stepped on the scale again the other day… 225.4… I’m thinking I was severly dehydrated or something… but then again my scale is fucking bonkers… but I can’t even fathom how I’d be losing weight on this phase… I don’t know my caloric intake but it’s gotta be higher than phase I just by look at amount of food…
Perhaps I really was eating too little on phase I and thats why I gained? Who effing knows…
When does that physique clinic start up… I want in… I need it to finish off my sculpting haha
I’m getting fat… I guess I’m getting strong too… thats fun… hopefully I keep this strength after Phase II is over… and I cut down…

What’s your diet looking like? To many carbs? To many calories? Something seems off? Maybe it’s just the scale???
Not measuring cals… diet doesnt call for it…
I’m thinking too many carbs… I’m very carb sensitive… I gained 8 lbs in a week when I started the Zone diet and upped my carb intake from way way way way way low to semi-normal.
Today I murdered my life.
My row is so strong… I’m thinking I should look at getting a seat on a crew team… lol is that possible?

I heard that, I lost 2lbs yesterday myself. This weekend I’m going to take pictures.
My must be growing… they have to be…
5 sets of 8 Military presses @ 105 ok fine the last set was push pressed… but still that’s a huge gain…
