Not lifting today. My lower back is still sore as hell from deads, I have an exam tomorrow in differential equations, and I’m competing at 2:30pm in a business pitch competition with a first place prize of $6,000. I’m not banking on winning as there will be some major competition, but it would be awesome if I did. Wish me luck lol.

Foam roll, kick ass, and take names at that competition. Then report back here $6,000 richer.

1st prize is 6k, 2nd is ~3k, third is ~1k, and at this point there are 12 competitors. So, all I need to do is be in the best 1/4 to make money. haha. I have hope.

My major is Computer Engineering.

I like carbs too, but when the amount of rice I’m puttting down will cover a whole plate 2 inches thick, it gets to be a pain lol. I’m not dieting lol. Trying to bulk somewhat. I just re-read my log looking for where I said i was dieting. You sure you’re not thinking of AshyLarry, gregron, or bug? Sorry for the confuzzlement lol.

The competition was a couple hours ago, I didn’t win :frowning: oh well though I just didn’t have the time to put into it that it would have taken to win. Now I get to study until 3-4AM for this diff eq exam. Funnn… lol.

I ordered a thick ass PL belt last night, so hopefully it’ll be here reasonably soon so i don’t have to keep stealing my friend’s.

So far being home has been a lot of fun. Literally every relative/family member I’ve seen so far has said either something about working out or how I’m bigger, so that’s been a big confidence boost haha. Went to the DMV to get a car title put in my name, and I had to get my license updated. They asked me my height/weight, and when I said “5’11” 190" my mom was like “HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH?!?” . So she had to tell all of my other family members that too, of course.

Had a very solid arm workout with one of my friends from back home. I’m probably going to be writing him a split in the next two days. He’s been following 5/3/1, but isn’t very satisfied with it. He’s gaining faster than the program allows, so I’m saying he should go on a split while his progress is still linear. Once it starts stalling, then he can go to a pre-set program again.
