Yeah, the spread of the wrong pictures is a little ridiculous.

Or the wanted posters of Zimmerman with a $10K reward by the Panthers.

Ridiculous indeed.

I already said that was stupid and that will likely be brought up on charges for it if anything happens to Zimmerman.

That is ridiculous just like purposefully trying to find the worst pictures possible to post of the kid for clear reasons…or acting like copyrighting his image is just “his mom trying to make money off his death” and not because they are also trying to protect his image.

There is bias on all sides.

I am just pointing out we only seem to be getting one side thrown in HERE.

I haven’t brought up any burglaries nor have I claimed anything about who he was looking for or why.
So if you aren’t claiming anything why are you in the discussion?

To my knowledge Zimmerman was looking for black guys because of previous burglaries. if you are now saying that had nothing to do with it, then I am even more shocked as to why this kid was followed in the first place.

Why keep posting just to say, “Well, I personally didn’t say that” when many others are?

I’m sure ol’ Spike was urgently trying to apologize for ruining these folks lives right??

Nope…

Amazing when people want “justice” how the rules fail to apply to them.

just to ask but what does race really need to do with this at all? The media and those who havea stake in this has made this a racial issue. Why cant this just be a fucked up, unfortunate issue of one adult killing a teenager, regardless of reason? Even if zimmerman is a kkk member who consistently attacked and had it out for non-white people, why even add color to the fact that murder is murder? Justified or not, black or white shouldnt be the main issue. He killed another HUMAN being. I dont care if the kid was THE perfect sterotype against everything negative regarding african american/american culture, the kid got shot.
End of story.
You cant use the prosecuting idea that “zimmerman shot him because he was black, had a hood on and was crip walking down the street.” That is a veiled motive. That is someone else then the shooter creating motive, which is what everyone is doing regarding this murder. And now if anyone of color retaliates against other whites or zimmerman himself what does that do? Make it even?

To annoy you?

It isn’t explicitly obvious why he thought the kid was suspicious or even what previous crimes he was talking about on the phone. It is possible that Trayvon may have been acting in a way that was odd, or even that he was literally casing houses. We simply don’t know.

I said “I didn’t personally say that”, because you attributed it to me.

I hope they can sue him and take a bunch of his money.

Are you asking to really understand or because you have already decided any answer is irrelevant?

It is important because it is likely why he was followed at all to start with. This kid would likely be alive if he wasn’t targeted as a “criminal” when no criminal activity was going on.

In here it seems to be about 50/50…in the main stream media/sports/music and entertainment…they all want Zimmerman’s head on a post.

Personally I would like to see a trial, if there is enough evidence for the state to press charges. It’s the only way everything will fully come out, much like the Duke case.
Professor X wrote:

you don’t even know that. And there are plenty of legal actions that can and should raise suspicions.

FYI Marcus D Higgins was the first who tweeted that address. Many retweeted it, included Spike Lee. Unfortunately, people are bound to follow the celebs more than anyone else’s. So yeah the blame is on him now. His mistake for not having that address checked beforehand.

I expect a law suit soon.

I disagree with your “50/50”. You have people calling out posters for agreeing with me about anything. That is some pretty heavy bias when the only thing being posted here is the perception of what is going on.

I would like to see a trial also.

I am also aware there is a lot of media attention whore seeking on all sides.

That includes Geraldo Rivera, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Rush Limbaugh, Spike Lee and many others.

I see people right here accusing this kid’s mother of being a money grubbing gold digger for coyrighting her son’s image…as if there is no purely logical LOVING reason for her to do such a thing.

I see people calling people racist for even mentioning a race issue in this country. Others have already pointed this out. There is bullshit on all sides and “50/50” is not the representation here.

When people start acting like they are actually “offended” because a pale guy who is out of shape is called pasty, you already know the bs is high.

But I can say there are some here who can carry on a decent debate and you may be one of them.

Dude, just stop. WHAT criminal activity was this kid involved in while walking home.

If you haven’t heard of any, I am betting it is safe to say, “none”.

Quit this. To truly have the stance you are taking, you would need to be following every poster here around and calling them out on every “fact” written.

Not much here, unfortunately. The officer who handcuffed Zimmerman did confirm the bloody nose and injuries to the back of the head, and that he did receive medical attention, but not much beyond that. The report of Zimmerman’s interview is not there, which is what I want to see.

Of course…which is WHY there is “no comment”. He was wrong to send the message forward or to get involved…and saying ANYTHING to the media afterwards would be damned stupid considering there is no doubt a law suit waiting.

However, the media is acting like his “no comment” means he is just being mean.

Just wanted to add “tweeting” has to be the dumbest shit on the planet…especially for celebrities and politicians…unless their lawyers are writing the tweets.

I tried reading a few of the “tweets” posted by people on this forum and could not understand a thing that was trying to be said. I have an easier time understanding complex differential equations than that stuff.

I have to admit I had fun setting that trap for the reverse-bigots.

It must be difficult for them to think with so much cognative dissonance in their heads:

"black on white attack = not racism

(any other color) attack on black = white racism"

Bit like Winston Smith in “1984,” except “political correctness” instead of “new think.”
Please. It’s a soccer game. She had the ball and got tackled hard from behind and a fight started. What point is there posting the video??? Was the black girl stalking the white one and profiling her? You guys are ridiculous. Try again.
