Just so happens huh?

Interesting.
I have to admit I had fun setting that trap for the reverse-bigots.

It must be difficult for them to think with so much cognative dissonance in their heads:

"black on white attack = not racism

(any other color) attack on black = white racism"

Bit like Winston Smith in “1984,” except “political correctness” instead of “new think.”

Please. It’s a soccer game. She had the ball and got tackled hard from behind and a fight started. What point is there posting the video??? Was the black girl stalking the white one and profiling her? You guys are ridiculous. Try again.
Ah, we’ve discovered Rougue Vampire’s second account. No one else could be so dense.

(BTW, I watched it, the attacker tripped on her own feet. There is no “tackle” — not that it is relevant to the point you are too stupid to understand.)

What the fuck is your problem?? Did I ever say that racism is only a black issue? Discrimination is widespread, racism is widespread and it happens to every color and creed. A fight that starts at a soccer game with players that just so happen to be of different race isn’t even close to the issue at hand. I’m pretty sure who ever tackled that girl wouldve gotten the brunt of her anger…just the mood she was in it seemed.

I am not a bigot. I am the last person who would be a “Racist” You guys spew so much about conjecture next time you have a question just ask. SMH

FYI Marcus D Higgins was the first who tweeted that address. Many retweeted it, included Spike Lee. Unfortunately, people are bound to follow the celebs more than anyone else’s. So yeah the blame is on him now. His mistake for not having that address checked beforehand.

I expect a law suit soon.
Of course…which is WHY there is “no comment”. He was wrong to send the message forward or to get involved…and saying ANYTHING to the media afterwards would be damned stupid considering there is no doubt a law suit waiting.

However, the media is acting like his “no comment” means he is just being mean.
Fucking media bias.

Aha. More insults. Not surprised. A 26year old black guy with parents from the carribean and south america equals rogue vampire? isnt he supposed to be some big burly dude living in middle america with a penchant for vampires? lol whatev :-p

What is the deal with your attitude? You haven’t posted anything smart enough to call someone else stupid. The only thing that comes from you is insults.

I would like to point out that the black girl was not tackled, she tripped and then attacked the other girl. I do agree that this video has no bearing on this issue other than Jewbacca making his point, which I do think needed to be made, again. Not to you, though, but to a handful of others that are posting, on both sides too.

I’m willing to debate the issue at hand without insults…theres just no need…it almost seems childish…until that Happens I guess I’m out.

I agree with this. There is no point and the attitude is ridiculous. The call outs and calling everyone here a troll is stupid at this point.

If people want to discuss this like adults, they can do so. That isn’t happening though. What is happening is posting pictures of people who are not the deceased and acting like the kid’s mother is just out to make money off his image.
Professor X wrote:

Hahaha!! I agree.

Marcus actually tweeted the address to many black celebs by the way. Spike Lee was the only who jumped on it and retweeted it. Fool.

Were those pictures actually fake? I know they looked a bit off even when compared to younger photos, but I missed where they were shown to be fake.

I get Jewbacca’s point, but that video wasn’t a very good example. People become naturally heated in competition, and the woman who assaulted the white girl simply snapped. I do not believe that was a race related incident because it happened within the context of a sporting event.

I have gotten the urge to smash my friends face in during an intense pickup game (I obviously didn’t). So no, to me that soccer field incident was just a crazy woman unable to control her emotions.

X: no arguing with you. I agree on interest of circumstances, but im honestly asking why the need for interest at all in those particulars?

What does it matter?

Point in case: a few years ago a teen was sitting on a bench outside of Taft high school in the SF Valley (So Cal). 3 males drove up in a car, asked the teen “where are you from?” and before the teen can answer he was shot 5 times. he died.

I removed color from the incident.

Tragedy doesnt come from the color of the skin of these individuals. It doesnt have to do with neighborhood watch, or what his shirt says. Its murder. We added, and only recently, racial murder/hate crime/ color against color crime. But why harp on it?

Anyone hear about all the shootings 2 weekends ago in chicago?

Some of them were confused with a different Trayvon in Georgia.

They were pictures of some other kid with the same name in a different city.

Dark Ninja posted the difference.

That is why we are saying this is far from “50/50”. In reality, there seem to be a shit load of people ready to either shout down or call people trolls if the opinions differ. The insults and name calling is juvenile…but then they act “offended” at “pasty”. It is a load of bullshit in this thread and very few are actually here to discuss anything to any intellectual degree beyond “troll!!!”.

But I guess that is what you get on the internet.

We might as well “tweet”.
Professor X wrote:

Indeed.

But would it really hurt Spike to apologize and ask his followers to quit re-tweeting?

Just seems like common courtesy to me…

Mea Culpa if he has already done this.

Hey, their new defence mechanism is to call you a bigot or racist for talking about discrimination.

And just ignore that fool. I have him on ignore. He’s quite quick at pointing the ‘‘black bigots’’, trying to show blacks in a bad light as much as he can yet he forgets about his own prejudices toward Palestinians and Arabs. The death of innocent Palestinian women and children under Israeli missiles is always justifiable.

I’d invite you to read PWI sometimes if your stomach can handle it.

Ah, I must have missed them. To be honest, I have only skimmed the last couple of pages. The name calling and bullshit has gotten really bad and make it hard for me to take some people’s posts seriously so when I see posts that are like that I just skip them. I agree that that shit is uncalled for on both sides. We are not children here, for the most part.

So if Spike had in fact checked the address and confirmed it was Zimmerman’s, he would have been justified in retweeting it? I hope that is not what you are saying.

Guy, I grew up in Houston in the 90’s. I am well aware of gang activity even though we were never as bad as California. Drive bys were a legit fear in certain neighborhoods.

For the last time, racial profiling is done by authority figures. Yes, that does matter…because it is those who are profiled who get to feel it and it is those at greater risk of dying by the hands of those chosen to protect.

I have heard that this means my risk of getting killed by a cop is the same as getting hit by lightening. That is one bullshit way to dismiss what people feel, fear and experience.

Acknowledging that does not mean I think racism is so bad that it is holding me back in life…because my parents were smart enough to teach me to be good at what I do in spite of it.

It still doesn’t stop people dying and it doesn’t erase the greater risk people feel when they are black and stopped by police. It has far reaching effects.

That is the answer to your question.

Now…watch as people dismiss it all and act like my words are coming from an 8 year old.
