Black Teen Shot 2

Hold up…why do you assume a man who called the cops more times than I have called my mom in the past year is following some standard like this?
I’m not. you seemed to be commenting on what the reasonable assumption was. I personally find it hard to believe a guy with a permit and who new the rules of carrying was chasing someone with a gun drawn while he knew the cops were on the way. But again, anything is possible we don’t know what he did.

AGAIN there are tons of logical reasons to follow and chase someone without intending any confrontation at all. numerous ones have already been listed. We simply do not know either way.

Never claimed it didn’t. Why do you think it did?.

And again, you are assuming confrontation was intended.

The guy I followed was to keep track of him, not confront him.

All this make believe is getting old.
?? What the fuck else was he planning to do in the rain?

he had a car. Why not stay in it if the goal was just to tail someone?

That makes no fucking sense…and you know it.
Uh, cause there are places you can walk that you can’t drive? What I saw on the news was it happened on a walkway between buildings. It’s entirely possible it was to either lose track of the guy or get out on foot.

I also do wonder what Zimmerman’s next step was going to be in his own mind.

Let’s assume for an instant that Zimmerman’s absolute belief that this kid was a criminal and did not belong (as it sounds on those tape) is why he ran after him.

What was plan B?

After you run up to the criminal…with weapon…the next step was…?

Just a note…I don’t think for a second that this pasty guy ran after a “crminal” WITHOUT his gun ready to fire.

If you do believe that…wow.
Is it not possible he was only foot because he wanted to direct police to the correct location once they arrived? That he never intended to confront Trayvon at all?

And now you think Trayvon attacked a guy with his gun drawn? This isn’t Hollywood dude.

Keep calling him a “pasty” guy, your true colors are showing.
Also, you prefer I use flabby? they mean the same thing as far as I am concerned.
Pasty and flabby are the same thing? When did this happen?

I see unhealthy looking in reference to complexion. certainly in context of the topic, it would seem an odd chose of words at least.

would it be correct to call a fat black guy pasty?

Pasty, according to Websters can also mean unhealthy. It is funny what people choose to focus on.

Illogical: Short, fat, unmuscled guy running after Tall, athletic young teenager…IN THE RAIN…after leaving his car and stating “they always get away”…but no weapon drawn in an effort to not tail but literally run up to and question (and possibly retain until cops arrived).

nope and so far you are one of the worst with “facts point to”. There are no facts yet.
Yep and no facts except all the facts.
How about you cite one “fact” then that has been proven besides a kid is dead, there was an altercation and you are a douche.
Ok, your butt is awfully hurt, Zimmerman was beaten, the DA didn’t see enough evidence to make an arrest and evidence supports Zimmermans version of events. And I am more handsome than you.
Not butthurt, irked that this shit keeps being portrayed as fact. Apparently you can’t differentiate between fact and blogs.

Zimmerman could have caused his own injuries, you don’t know why there wasn’t a case brought forth and the third is speculation until it is testimony.

Also, I wouldn’t want to be the handsomest man in the world if it included your personality.
So you’re saying witch hunts are bad? Hmm…

And I appreciate the compliment. I also understand, being awesome isn’t for everybody.
The part about witchhunts is where I agreed with you remember? For someone so unbiased you sure are trying hard to sway the jury.

I never implied you were handsome, just a douche. If that equals awesome in your world so be it.
Then you’ve read my devils advocate posts?

I’m sexy and you know it. And douche is so subjective. The accusation usually comes from a butthurt place, which is understandable but this thread is about a case of murder vs. self defense being used as a red herring for blacks to pretend like their illogical, overwhelming suspicion of whites is now correct because of a case that has nothing to do with racism at all and doesn’t even involve a white person.
Professor X wrote:

So pasty was, at first, entirely synonymous with ‘flabby’ to you… and now you are arguing it actually means unhealthy.

To nitpick: it’s pale and unhealthy in appearance. Subtle distinction, but it seems to be escaping you.

I would consider a pale, unhealthy-looking cancer patient pasty. I would consider a pale, healthy person to be pasty, as well. However, I wouldn’t refer to a healthy-looking cancer patient as pasty… because it only refers to one’s appearance, not actual state of health.

Yet another 2/10 effort from you.

It’s only referring to complexion. Like if someone fainted and their skin went pale, that would be pasty. Fat doesn’t seem to fit. it is, either way a skin color reference.

You said flabby and pasty were interchangeable, but a black guy can’t be pasty. I was just trying out your statement.

It is at minimum an interesting word choice. Like if I were to call Trayvon “the ebony kid” and I mean like the tree (he is tall after all).

This whole last page has been guys complaining because pasty was used to describe a half white out of shape guy.

That’s sad.

The discussion was about what an armed man was planning to do after he caught the guy he was chasing.

Nice deflection…but it sucks.

X, with all due respect (I do have a lot for you believe me), your attitude really comes off like YOU are a bit racist…This whole “victim” thing has been played out. How is racism supposed to stop when a “group” can’t let go of a grudge. Serious question. I am not trying to argue.

There is always going to be ignorant people who cannot justify their thoughts/actions. Some people dislike people for the color of the skin, others dislike people for religion, others dislike people if they like miracle whip (shit is gross)! Get over it. Am I right?

Can you honestly say you would be upset if the kid was caucasion? I bet you wouldn’t. It would just be unfortunate…you think the kid is a victim because he is black (I think)

Maybe the homeowners of the community are to blame for allowing a FOOL to be the neighborhood watch…strapped. Just a thought.

I’m not trying to piss you off X, just a different perspective. I feel it unfortunate that we can’t get past the whole racism thing, it is just stupid.

No the discussion was about you using a skin color reference in a negative way in the discussion. I think the rest was trying to get you the admit what everyone already knows.

The second part has been address in approximately 3 million previous posts all of which you’ve ignored.

We just had a thread about a Muslim woman attacked. My opinion doers not change based on race when it comes to recognizing someone attacked.

the real question is why any black person who mentions race is somehow “racist” for doing so.

What you saw in this thread and the other was the statement that we don’t have all the facts.

Your opinion is biased as well…you just won’t admit it.

The guy is fat and pale. How is that using a skin color reference in a negative way?

Unless “pasty” is now a racial slur your “offense” is a joke.

We were told many times in this thread that being offended means someone else needs to handle your emotions for you.

Why is that only applied in one direction?
