Black Teen Shot 2

Given the circumstances, it’s NOT unreasonable to assume Zimm may have tried to restrain or at least block Tray in some way… knowing full well the cops would soon arrive and take over, at which point Zimm would achieve hero status.

That would be a far better reason for Tray to punch Zimm, instead of as Zimm turned away.

Who knows. All we have is Zimm’s word.

Let’s assume for an instant that Zimmerman’s absolute belief that this kid was a criminal and did not belong (as it sounds on those tape) is why he ran after him.

What was plan B?

After you run up to the criminal…with weapon…the next step was…?

Just a note…I don’t think for a second that this pasty guy ran after a “crminal” WITHOUT his gun ready to fire.

If you do believe that…wow.
If your gun isn’t ready to fire, you have no business carrying one.

maybe to find out who he was, or keep track to tell police where he went? There are about a million possibilities.
wait…you really think if you run up to a criminal and ask their name…you will get the honest truth?

That makes no logical sense.

Remember, he is out of shape and shorter than the guy he is running after. It would be plain STUPID on his part to NOT have his gun drawn in a situation like that if he really thought this was a criminal.

Once again, where that gun was can change everything…and that is not a light concern.

This guy was too weak to defend himself yet people think the gun was hidden???

Edit:

That picture is talking about the murder of Channon Christian and her boyfriend Chris Newsome.

They were kidnapped by 5 black people and tortured for days. They finally cut Chris’ penis off and burned him alive before shooting him.

You can go read what they did to Channon, it is absolutely disgusting and will ruin your day.
Race aside, the case pictured is exactly why self defense laws should be heavily supported. I mean what the fuck?

And who knows if something like that might happen. Just out of the blue, eating dinner on any given night. It’s unlikely but had the victims had a gun, I’m willing to bet shit would’ve happened differently. I know we all like to be hard asses but if you get caught off guard by a group like that you’re going to have a hard time furious fisting your way out of it.

It’s a real shame Christopher and Channon were unable to start killing people at the onset of the carjacking.

Come at me.

Zimmerman is following Trayvon in his car. Trayvon realizes he is being followed and, as per his girlfriend’s statement, “walks fast” and cuts through some yards.

Zimmerman believes Trayvon is trying to flee, so, while still on the phone with 911, he exits his vehicle to pursue on foot. He wants to keep Trayvon in his sights so he can direct the police to the correct street/address once they arrive.

The dispatcher realizes George is on foot and advises, “We don’t need you to do that.”. George says OK and hangs up the phone. He turns around and heads back to his car. Trayvon, whom we now know has a history of drugs and fighting, realizes he has about half a foot on Zimmerman and decides he would be an easy target.

Trayvon approaches Zimmerman and they have words. While Zimmerman pulls out his phone to redial 911, Trayvon sucker punches him in the face. A witness then sees Trayvon on top of Zimmerman bashing his head into the ground.

At this point Zimmerman is screaming for help and nobody is coming. He draws his concealed weapon and fires once into Trayvon’s chest.

This scenario is textbook self defense and is consistent with and supported by the facts in this case.

And pasty means pale btw, not fat. It sounds like you are making reference to the color of his skin.

Pasty, according to Websters can also mean unhealthy. It is funny what people choose to focus on.

Illogical: Short, fat, unmuscled guy running after Tall, athletic young teenager…IN THE RAIN…after leaving his car and stating “they always get away”…but no weapon drawn in an effort to not tail but literally run up to and question (and possibly retain until cops arrived).
