This is true too, there would’ve been a time when all the facts weren’t in and there is no reason why a debate shouldn’t have happened, other than a lack of media interest due to the race roles.

Edited to correct for facts:
For that matter, in Mississippi this past weekend: (1) one black male was shot by three black males and (1) one white male was shot by one black male who walked up to him and shot him at a house party. Both wholly seperate incidents. Facts clears as mud.
I am sure the the media and Rev. Al will be there any moment to start marches.
based off a dwarf and houston post a few pages back: Im curious, who here in a fight, with almost anyone of equal physical appearnce, regardless of race, would use deadly force or near deadly force?
I see a lot of street fights and a majority end with someone “trying” to kill someone, even if its a fight in mcdonalds. So Houston guy said something interesting and it makes me wonder because todays fighting isnt the same as it was even 15 years ago. Now everyone has seen a UFC, most people know an armbar or rear naked, mostly everyone scrounges for a weapon. So what would it be?

Uh…why would the white community react the same way unless there was a history of racial profiling causing more whites to die as a result?

Hold the context though. A mutual fight and being attacked are not one and the same.
Just to add…I would assume the “white community” would think, “gee, if I don’t break into cars, I probably won’t get shot”…as opposed to the black community saying, “gee, if I walk outside with a hood on, someone may get scared and shoot me…for NOT doing any crime at all”.
If you can’t see the difference, what would it take for that to happen?

I don’t live in a low income neighborhood. My neighbors are black, Latino, white, Asian and who knows what else. In fact, it may be the most mixed “nice” neighborhood I’ve been in. My worries are not being gunned down in a gang fight. My worries are getting pulled over while driving through Westheimer after leaving the gym for driving while black…and everything that can lead to.
