Furious,
Your going to have to fix the quotes. I read your last portion. There is no dishonor in self defense what so ever. You can play tough guy all day, it isn’t impressive. A 130 lb. woman facing a rape wouldn’t share your bullshit bravado.
I’m a fairly large guy, compared to average joes on the street I’m a “big dude”, especially when you consider lean tissue.
I was a state level wrestler, enjoy bjj as a hobby and have started dicking around with kickboxing. I can crack heads. I’m also licensed to carry. If I’m “strapped” and some jerk off attacks or threatens to attack me, I’m not going to dick around and play honor ninja and bash his head in, I’m going to take his head clean off and your “honor” can kiss my barrel.
If, on the other hand, I’m in a situation mutually escalated to violence, a fight is a fight. I don’t support baiting.violence to murder, I stated the possibility exists and it does. Only certain people are eligible for a license and while not fool proof, the vetting process weeds out hot headed retards who just want to run around with a “license to kill”. It hasn’t been an issue considering facts in run of the mill or highly publicized cases.
Your “furious fist” honor barking doesn’t mean much. Frankly it is retarded. When faced with serious threat, the most efficient route to safety just makes the most sense.
the most efficient route to safety would be to run away.
if you are attacked by more than one person
say one of them is ‘strapped’ (illegally for example)and the main aggressor is not using a weapon, therefore you are unaware of the danger.
you pulling out a firearm and shooting at him will escalate the situation and may end with you getting your own head blown clean off by one of his buddies.
nice logic, cowboy.
if you read the rest of my post, i said it would make more sense if the license were only available to vunerable citizens. if you are a large guy fully confident and capable to physically defend yourself as you describe, why do you even feel the need to carry a gun?
and i know honor doesnt mean much to people like you in america. hence the current state of affairs over there.
Bullets are much faster than I am. And the dead can’t chase.
If I’m getting attacked by a group and one has a gun, I may get my head blown off anyways. What ifs are bullshit. Fact of the matter is, in your scenario, I’m getting attacked by a group which can be deadly with or without a weapon drawn on me and yes, in this scenario, I would be shooting in defense as I was unwillingly forced in to a dangerous situation of which the outcome is unknown. What I do know is in that situation I would do all I could to get out alive, including killing my attackers.
I don’t know what a vunerable citizen is but I’ll assume vulnerable. Define a “vulnerable person”. Bad guys in the US often have guns or knives. This makes anybody from a dear old grandmother to a 350 lb street brawler vulnerable. I don’t care how furious your fists are, you won’t win against a bullet.
What you don’t know when attacked is intent of the attacker, what they might have as a weapon and if they might use that weapon. You don’t fuck around for silly prides sake. Drop him for good and if it turns out he just had skittles and iced tea, his dumb ass paid the price for acting a fool.
You can gamble on pride and cross your fingers you don’t get shot while being a hard ass but in the US getting shot yourself while being mugged/attacked what have you is a real possibility. Call your stupidity honor if you want, I’ll live. And, FTR, cowboy is not an insult.
Ignorance speaks for itself. i have no words.
