Black Panther Comic to Movie

THIS is the guy who should be playing the Black Panther, or at least his fucking stunt double in my personal opinion…

**brought up in the geek sh*t thread, i felt it deserved its own, considering how well done this movie COULD be… as prof x mentioned considering the current state of africa it could be much more than a comic book movie and make quite a statement.

No one has any information about real movie production?

I think I heard the guy from “Gladiator” and “Never Back Down” is rumored to be the Black Panther. I could be wrong though. It has happened before. lol

For the record:

That was the best scene in that movie. I will be watching it again just for that.

I couldn’t find anything on imdb, but I did find this regarding some other things with regards to Marvel.

Ant-Man (2010) (announced) (comic book)

Nick Fury (2010) (announced) (character)

Doctor Strange (2010) (announced) (comic book & characters)

Spider-Man 4 (2009) (announced) (characters)

Silver Surfer (2009) (announced) (characters)

Thor (2009) (pre-production) (characters)

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) (filming) (characters)

The Incredible Hulk (2008) (post-production) (comic book)

Iron Man (2008) (post-production) (characters)

(Before I look really foolish: Black Panther is Marvel correct?)

Yep. DC couldn’t have come up with something like that.

That’s what I thought.

He’s just too busy to stop all of the bullshit.

But you have to think that at some point the goodness of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk (hopefully), Thor, and Nick Fury will outweigh the abortion that SM4 will be.

I think the movie should be like Coming to America.

Michael Jai White should REALLY be picked for the part i mean this is straight up africa lol, and despite it beign a weak movie the film Undisputed II had some of the freshest fight scenes ive seen in a minute

some black panther shit for your ass…

I’ll give you that he can fight but that’s it. He can’t act. I’ve watched a few of his non action movies…painfully…Who remembers him in spawn?

Actually, I find he has charisma. He’s be my first choice. That Lateef dude seems great, too.

Does anyone remember the guy who starred “Shaka Zulu”?
Henry Zele was my first black action hero. He died a few months ago.

I’d like Djimon Hounsou. He can act, has the build and the accent. He can do action as seen in Gladiator.

i dont like him… but to each their own

Best choice IMHO. I could be wrong, but there we go.

This just in: It’s gonna be Chris Rock. Sorry bitches.

Actually, I hear that he is going to be in the Spawn 2 movie that is in talks (he was in the original). I’m excited; the first one sucked, but this one is going to be a series reboot (like Batman Begins).
