First show. Yeah. Like bedazzled bikini and hooker heels show. SH and I are still debating between Figure and Physique. He’s pushing for Physique and that’s more the look I prefer, but I’m not so sure that I’m where I need to be for that. I’ve been totally convinced that I was going to do Figure about a million times already. Same thing with Physique. It changes daily at this point.

I used straps on the RDLs this time. Stopped because I was getting bored. I haven’t been doing them from a deficit and I think its time to switch. I’m not getting as much of a stretch as I’d like

If I remember correctly, I’ve been just barely ahead of you on squats and you’ve always killed me on deadlift and bench. With me getting lighter and you doing Sheiko I suspect that we won’t be wrestling with similar weights for long :slight_smile: I’d love to continue to get bigger and stronger, but I know that’s not going to last forebbur.

Yis Betty, you’re the first to know :slight_smile: On here anyway.

Not doing BB because I’m not big enough. I know a few local FBBs and they all totally dwarf me. I look like a total string bean next to them.

The new physique division is a lot more like FBB with the way the women present themselves (no heels, posing routine) and I think that would be the best fit for me in the long run. I think figure has gotten really soft in recent years, and I don’t like it. If I do figure and end up being “too big” or “too conditioned” I’d be happy. I can see pros and cons for both divisions. But I really care more about being happy with what I bring to the stage than what the judges have to say.

As far as I know, the tattoos don’t really matter. If they’re distracting and make it hard to see a body part, like a full back piece, its different, but with the tan being so dark, they’re just kind of there and don’t really stand out.

End of the week update. Because I’m feeling too lazy to post all of my training in here right now.

A few highlights:
*I added another rep to incline db press with the 45s
*Did a heavy set of BB rows with 145
*Squatted 145x20 (fasted)

Diet is going well. No major compliance issues and I’m down to 133 as of this morning. First refeed is today. I also trained fasted for the first time today (aside from having a little MAG-10) some things felt awesome. Others were shit.

My left pec is giving me troubles. Trained upper body anyway. Lots of stretching and ext rotation stuff too.

I also managed to crank out pullups for the first time ever. I’ve been able to do chins and ng pullups for a while and even a pull-up, but this is the first time I’ve ever gotten even remotely close to cranking them out. I guess losing like, 11 pounds, and really hitting back will do that. Who would have ever guessed?
