Nah. I was just feeling a little more adventurous than usual. 35s didn’t feel too heavy plus I figured if the incline was a little lower than usual a few extra pounds might not be much of an issue. I was wrong and also too stubborn to drop down. I was being a little ornery and decided I’d rather do low reps with the weight I chose than higher reps with the weight I should have chosen.

Just chiming in that your legs look fantastic, Buckeye. Nice quad sweep going on.

If you showed those to someone as part of a before and after contest, they’d swear you had dropped a lot of weight. It’s amazing that you’ve changed your body composition so much. And it’s a great example of how scale weight doesn’t tell us much.

You mentioned how your triceps seem to dominate everything. At least it isn’t traps. I swear, I can turn everything into a bicep and/or trap move.

Thanks Puff! Moar quads is one of the goals. They’re there, but I really need more, or to be leaner so they look like more.

My upper traps like to try to do a lot of things they shouldn’t too.

Aaaand I’m already super sore today.

Didn’t train today. It seems that I hit my upper back pretty hard with those DB RDLs yesterday. Plus I would have had less than an hour to train by the time I was able to get to the gym tonight.

Today is the last day of the winter bulk. Started at 140ish and ended at 144.5 this morning. Goal was to reach 145 without getting any fatter. I’m definitely over 145 after eating all day and BF readings have been pretty consistent. My pants also continue to be too big in the waist. Mission accomplished.

Carb cycling starts tomorrow and it will be a low day (1700 cals, 100-120g carbs).

I trained yesterday. I will most likely train again today. It wasn’t a bad workout, but it wasn’t all that great either. My right trap is still a little angry with me after the RDLs so I didn’t want to go too hard. And on top of that, I have the girl disease to deal with this week. Gross.

Dirty dreamer bulks are fun and it look you yours worked out just fine :wink: I’ve never really tried to gain before. I usually just end up eating too much junk for too long and get fat. This time I only put on a few pounds, but they seemed to go to the right places. Yay!

Did a quick back workout today. Got stuck at work and ended up getting to the gym later than I had planned. Left bicep tendon was also a little angry so I didn’t feel so bad cutting back.

True. Quick is better than nothing. Unfortunately, I had another quick workout today.

I hate trying to get training in while traveling. Workouts never seem to go as well in strange gyms.

Cut is going well. I weighed myself on Saturday and was down to 140 which kind of surprised me. I didn’t expect to drop that much water that quickly, but I’m feeling good.
