I trained a shit load of college football players… 90% of them could not squat that much. Sad for them. Awesome for you. Good Shit!
That is pretty sad. I just might pretend that I didn’t read that…or maybe I’ll sit here and revel in my awesomeness…I’m undecided.
I guess I didn’t mention it, but my squat was supposed to be 3 sets of 5 at 55%, 65%, and 75%. Its based off of a 245lb training max and when I calculated my numbers, I was actually freaked out about squatting 185 for my last set. I did it and I sunk them. And tnow I feel dumb for being nervous.

Well I’m very glad I found this log. A wimmen picking up heavy things, with excellent pictures? I’m in.
And storm…that is disgusting, i hope you made fun of them
Welcome!
I haven’t had many peekshurs lately…so here’s an lolcat.
I got back from my trip to buckeyeland late last night and probably won’t be training again until after Christmas. My work hours and the gym’s hours are pretty much identical. Not happy about this. But I’ve been battling a cold/allergies/sinus yuck for the past week and today seems to have been the worst so far. Maybe a few days off will be good for me.
On top of that, I still have presents to wrap. And wrapping paper to buy–now THATS going to be a fun trip to Walmart. And many things to unpack. This is the first time that we had the family x-mas before the holiday and its weird that its not ACTUALLY christmas yet.
I did train on Wednesday at the “bodybuilder gym” and the workout was just ok but the gym was fantastic. If I were to ever move back, I’d seriously have trouble picking a main gym. C-bus is such an awesome place for lifters. I also got my first two items from Lululemon and spotted a real live bear.
Trained on Monday. Haven’t been motivated enough to log until now. Ft squat training max has been bumped up 10 pounds as SH suggested. I squatted my deload weights with such ease in my previous workout that the jump sounded reasonable. My depth would have brought tears to even the strictest of IPF lifters’ eyes.
Monday wasn’t such a good day for squatting. Depth was there and I got my reps, but I didn’t do it with ease. Of course the weights were heavier, but even the light stuff didn’t feel awesome. SH swears I had 8-10 in me but I just went for what was required. I’m hoping the 10lb jump was a smart move.
ft squat

i was supposed to bench here. oops.
hack squat
pps x10x3
ss 1 1 leg rdl 10kg x15x3 seated ham curl 50x15x3
bb hip thrust (shoulders on bench)
95x10x3
*Is there any way to do these without crushing your pelvis? weight was both too heavy and barely heavy enough all at once.
ss 2 leg xt 70x10x3 (held at top) lying ham curl 50x10, 55x10x2
First attempt ever with bb hip thrusts. Ive done them unweighted before, but I always felt it in my hammies (even after activation work) and not much anywhere else. Because of this, I never really used them.
My glutes were nice and awake from the previous super set and my hammies already felt pretty fatigued so things actually seemed to feel right for once. I just might keep these.

This doesn’t pertain to you at all, but please try to get a video of Pete when he dies on his bike.
Last I heard, his bike was in pieces in the workshop. You might be waiting a little while before there is even a chance for such a vid…
SH got him headbands as part of his x-mas gift. Thought you might enjoy that if you didn’t already know.

Not sure if you’re talking about the possibility of a video of some dude wreaking his bike and possibly himself or my super awesome lifting that is always totally exciting and never boring at all… Either way, welcome.

There really isn’t a point to this post other than that it includes some eye candy…or at least what I consider eye candy.
I’m totally in love with Dana Linn Bailey at the moment. And I want her physique. That’s not too much to ask or anything. Just to look like an IFBB pro…
BB hip thrusts…legitimate use of the bar pad. It’s either that or grow callouses on your pubic and hip bones. I just roll the bar down a bit so it’s not hitting the bone.

Do you have a crush on Minna Pajulahti too? She’s my other crush.

I wanted to use it, but I looked around and couldn’t find any of them. Resorted to wrapping my warmup jacket around the bar. It didn’t seem to help much.

My sumos were super rusty. I think I’m going to stick with squats as my second exercise. Or maybe those will be second on OHP day. Regardless, I’m not keeping them.
