Bisbing Lost!!!!!

English cheaters.

I thought it was very close. I had Hammil winning but I could see an argument for Bisping.

Well thought out post, by the way. =D

that decision was a load of horse shit. Hammil utterly dominated that first round, and, although his 2nd and 3rd rounds weren’t quite so decisive, he still had at least 1 of those rounds won.

the only fight I did not see.
Has anyone a link? Please?

I just checked. Not a single fight on YouTube or Dailymotion yet. What’s going on?

English cheaters? I don’t think that is justified nor respectful in and of itself.

  1. There were 3 judges the judge who ruled it 30-27 in favor of Matt Hamil (he thought Hamil won) was English. Cecil Peoples continues to show that he is the worst judge in MMA, his decisions are some of the worst ever…

  2. After the decision for which beforehand you could tell Bisping and even his wife thought he lost, half of the ENGLISH crowd was booing and knew that Bisping did not win.

I did not feel Bisping won but to jump the gun and say it was a big conspiracy (or irrationally blame England, that was a great crowd) and some saying they will never view the UFC again is a bit too much.

Bisping is highly overrated and has been feed guys to build up his name and the UK brand, unfortunately this is due to the human fallacy of rooting for guys that look or act or are where you’re from which I don’t do I’d rather root on determination and character.

Bisping needs to drop to 185, though and even then I think he would get handled by any B level fighter or higher in that weight class. Bisping is surprisingly weak and carries no power in his shots he didn’t rock or have Hamil in trouble once, not even once. Hell even Elvis Sinosic almost finished Bisping.

The worst part is how DISRESPECTFUL Bisping was during the post-fight interview…points at Hamil “Go back to Wrestling” - Michael Bisping.

My apologies for the original post. I was simply outraged by the decision and I created the post seconds after it was made. Just seemed so damn coincidental at the time that the English hero should win.

I still can’t see how anyone could give either of the first two rounds to Bisping, he did nothing but backpedal and absorb strikes. Striking and aggression are two of the three judging criteria, right?

Actually, I found it pretty funny. I guess I was the only one, though.

The UFC looked very bad last night. Giving that decision to Bisping was disgraceful.

I started another thread to encourage everyone to fill up the mma message boards with complaints regarding this bullshit.

Last night, at least with the Bisping fight mma reminded me of boxing.

CORRUPT![/quote]

MMA is a big money game now. The controversy surrounding Bisping and Hammill will warrant more sold out fights down the road.

I’m actually slightly worried about this because I enjoy UFC, i encourage everyone to contact them, point out the mistake, and as the consumer demand fair judging to avoid the corruption boxing underwent.

P.S. If you don’t really give a shit and think i’m an idiot, then that’s fair too.

If non aggression and back peddling the whole fight is what wins, it was a win.

Forget the contact thing. There’s a poll on the ufc web site now where you can vote for Hammill. Currently about 90% say Hammill won it.

I think Bisping suggested Hamil, “go back to wrestling,” because his face hurt from the straight PUNCHES he ate all 1st and 2nd round. What an Ass hat, I never understood the appeal of that guy.

Bisping never had that fight won, I could understand an argument for, or suggestion of a draw, but never a win. 1st: Hamil (not even close) 2nd: I saw Hamil (but could have been a 9-9 round) 3rd: I saw Bisping (but that could have been 9-9 also). Either way, Hamil got hosed with the loss.

There is no 9 point round in the UFC unless a fighter was penalized a point.

“10 point must scoring system with opponent gaining 9 or less.”

They can’t give 9-9 rounds in the UFC, so if the judge thought there was any kind of edge to Bisping (based on their interpretations of the rules) then they’d give it to him.

I think the Bill Cowher avatar makes it even funnier.
