'Birthers.' It Ain't Over, I'm Sure

You did catch where I’m Jewish, right?

But on the topic of religion I know about, I do have an explaination for the mysterious scar on Obama’s head — clearly the result of his circumcision.

I can’t believe people are still complaining about this after the birth certificate has been produced. Instead of saying “thank you for producing your birth certificate, now we know you’re an American and can put this issue behind us”, people are still contending this whole this is wrapped in conspiracy and STILL aren’t happy. I really think it’s dragging the whole republican party down, showing that Obama can’t do anything right even when he does. Pure partisanship and it shows.

(FTR, I don’t think Obama has done much of anything right, but if you can’t put this birther issue behind you now, you’ve got problems)

Lol, now that’s funny.

I found this interesting: in Obama Releases Long Form Birth Certificate, But the Birther Industry Continues | TIME.com

"Trump, Corsi and the other not-so-serious carnival barkers of the public sphere are on to something much bigger than just the birth place of the 44th President of the United States. Like Glenn Beck, who can seamlessly connect the uprising in Cairo with the 1960s radical Bill Ayers, they are trying to provide answers to a certain segment of the population seeking outlandish explanations for recent events, because the factual ones are not satisfactory. They seek an emotionally satisfying outlet for their fury at their countryâ??s decline, the decade-long collapse in the credibility of its institutions, and the rapidly changing demographic makeup of its leadership. Birtherism was never about Obamaâ??s birthplace. It was the MacGuffin, the symbolic, hollow device for moving forward a narrative. "

Thudderdolt is a propaganda shill so his opinions carry no weight. Be careful who you side with in these forums.

I applied for a new passport, I was required to bring my birth certificate to show I was a citizen, fucking racists.

Fucking Cretins.

Goddam you birthers, how dare you make me prove that I am who I am, and all I wanted was a fucking new passport, not even running for president even.

Fuck you Visa, every time I use you, you card me, making me prove that I am who I claim to be.

Fucking cops, you pulled me over giving me a bullshit speeding ticket, and you DARE to presume that I am not an American? When my first name is Massimo? And my middle name has 27 letters in it?

If I wasn’t a fair skinned Italian guy, this would have NEVER happened.

Racists all of you !!!

A certificate of live birth can be issued without him being born in the states. It isn’t proof.

Not when it says “CITY OF BIRTH: HONOLULU” you fucking cretin.
hahah.
A short form certificate of live birth could be issued in hawai in 1961 for an un-attended birth. All that was necessary to get one is a baby and for the parent to claim that’s where they were born.

It is not proof. The long form has things like hospital and doctor signatures that is actual evidence of his birth there. Which is why the long form has been demanded by so many.

The short form is not proof he was born there. Idiots.
Yeah asshole, you’re right. His mother, anticipating that he could one day become President of the United States, gave birth to him in Kenya and then smuggled him into Hawaii just days later.

Or she, living in Kenya, hired a proxy to steal a black baby in Honolulu and present it as her son, using her identification.

Grow the fuck up. Most of you people never actually believed the short form was anything but authentic anyway. You just enjoy being goofy cynics with a soupcon of hillbilly bigotry.

The short form was not a forgery and there was never any actual reason to think it anything other than valid and credible.

You are beyond dumb. The short form doesn’t prove his birth there. And yes, there is motivation for his mother to bring him here and claim this is where he was born that have nothing to do with having to know he would be president one day. It happens. The short form isn’t proof. Period.

I have never claimed it was a forgery or that he was born anywhere else. I’ve only ever asked that he prove where he was born and wondered why, as any intelligent person would, he refused to do so.

No, he didn’t. He had his birth records sealed. and presented the public with pictures of it and eyewitness affidavits.

You lost your argument when you pulled your race card. This shit happens to all sorts of people (the idea of proving who you are and where you are from), and not exclusively when you run for POTUS.

If holding this office means you prove the requirements, then you should do so willingly, not forcefully.

People usually hide shit when they have reason to, and when considering someone for POTUS, you are not exactly winning over public trust.

Liberals have very little to throw, except the race card. They can’t defend the economy, jobs, social issues, on the merits.

My other times waster is a Porsche-racing forum (yeah, I race Porsches, which has been disclosed on many a biography because it is a "high risk behavior) – on the “general” forum I pointed out some of the false statements made by some liberal who was knee-jerk supporting arab terrorists.

I was accused of being a koran-buruning fundamentalist Christian racist – despite my screen name “Jewbacca” and my place of residence being “Israel.”

It was actually rather amusing to see how entrenched liberal memes are.
The only reason there’s no cards is the right wingers don’t accept facts. Everything is deduction from presumed premises…

Example, fastest economic growth in the US has been in times and places with higher tax regimes. The place study went on to show that the slower growing red states actually received more from the feds then they paid, yet still trailed everywhere else in growth. However, they did lead in incarceration rates, infant mortality, teen pregnancy, death rates at all ages, illiteracy, drop out rates, and etc.

However, direct observation is ignored. Dogmatic statements following party lines are preferred.

Sources please. And I don’t mean wikipedia, thanks.

I read too much to keep track of sources.
Study was released couple years ago… Feel free to google, if I remember search terms that would help I’ll post.

I think this hurts Obama…

He showed he was willing to cave, under the right circumstances, which was a USA Today poll released yesterday, showing a significant number of people still doubt his being born in the US.

I also think this helps Trump, although I doubt he will actually run. But what Obama showed today, was his willingness to jump when provoked.

Something I really like about Trump, he speaks off the cuff, he lacks the political correctness but does so eloquently. What he is showing is true balls.
True balls? The guy is a moron when it comes to politics and a blowhard when it comes to talking.

He’s been a joke for years, and I could only hope that the GOP saw fit to put him up as candidate.

Get ron paul to be his VP and we’ll take both out at the same time, finally.
Well I can’t disagree with you too much on any of that. Other than to say while Trump may be a political moron, he is a self-promoting genius. One only need check his net worth to be sure of that one.

Please do, I’m trying to collect examples of my own untested cherished beliefs.

I should have stated all people are irrational. Hard for me to doubt my own belief structure.

How are these for counter leftish.

In this world the US military has done worlds of good. We lost 26 (?) heroes in Somolia. But the death rate of Somolians was over 10,000 a day before intervention, drastically lower during and after intervention. I don’t have numbers, but you can google those to.

WE lost 26 heroes. They saved countless lives. You can debate whether it was worth it, but they did save thousands from starving.

Or Reagan was right the Soviet Union was a truly evil empire. the list of their crimes against humanity is far longer then I can write…

3million staved in Ukraine.
They open air tested bio weapons on an island in the Aral sea that if it got loose quite literally dwarfed the body counts of the black plagues.

Timely comment because Obama’s State Department has just issued a requirement to fill out an amazingly intrusive form if you don’t produce your long form birth certificate for a passport — reason being it is easy for non-natives to get a short form birth certificate if they claim they were born at home, etc.

Here:

http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2011/04/state_department_passport_application.php

Questions include things like “were you circumcised near birth?”

I guess that so they can put a Big Red “J” on your Passport like those other socialist did 60 years ago.
