'Birthers.' It Ain't Over, I'm Sure

I think this hurts Obama…

He showed he was willing to cave, under the right circumstances, which was a USA Today poll released yesterday, showing a significant number of people still doubt his being born in the US.

I also think this helps Trump, although I doubt he will actually run. But what Obama showed today, was his willingness to jump when provoked.

Something I really like about Trump, he speaks off the cuff, he lacks the political correctness but does so eloquently. What he is showing is true balls.
True balls? The guy is a moron when it comes to politics and a blowhard when it comes to talking.

He’s been a joke for years, and I could only hope that the GOP saw fit to put him up as candidate.

Get ron paul to be his VP and we’ll take both out at the same time, finally.

LOL @ “another victory”.
the flow of the discussion is rather typical - play the race card, fail, call the opponents “racistrightwingnutidiots”.
Can never tell if it’s just pointless trolling or obama nuthuggers are really that stupid.

Fine with me.
A certificate of live birth can be issued without him being born in the states. It isn’t proof.

But I’m glad you are acknowledging that up till now he hasn’t provided proof though.

Thanks for chiming in with your pathetic race card defense of president douchebag. If you honestly think the birth certificate issue is about race, then you have the collective intelligence of a bucket of mule piss.

The president released his short form certificate of live birth… Then a bunch of extremely stupid people who aren’t smart enough to debate policy issues kept whining about his long-form birth certificate. Obama tried not to concede to these fucking clowns–why would he? He is the President of the United States and he proved he was born in Hawaii.

Do you understand that? HE FUCKING PROVED IT. If Romney or McCain or any white person had been president and they had shown their short form, that would’ve been enough for the rabid mouthbreathers. But when the black guy proves he is American, it must be some sort of forgery.

So, Obama was trying to rise above it. Then you gullible clowns, at the behest of one of the least respectable public figures in modern America, pushed this non-issue to the point that it became a national distraction.

Then, you were fucking wrong. As expected. And somehow in this clusterfuck of bigotry, demagoguery, and idiocy, the guy who was right all along is the bad guy?

Give it a fucking rest. Disagree with his politics…that’s fine. But know this: these ridiculous ordeals that you keep engineering are going to do nothing but hurt you. Posterity will rightly paint them as circus acts, and you people are the painted ringleaders.

You can be assured the same thing would happen to any candidate that didn’t sufficiently provide proof of his origins, while having a good chance of being born elsewhere and sealing up all his records.

Really Irish you are wondering why people didn’t question 5 star general and American hero Dwight D. Eisenhower. You are playing the race card on this one really? You can’t be this fucking stupid, I mean I know you are from Jersey so I shouldn’t expect too much but come the fuck on.

By the way I never once questioned his birth and thought the whole thing was fucking stupid.

The timing of this will be called into question as the 2012 presidential elections gear up. I’m with you, why in the hell is right now a good time for this, he had plenty of time to put this issue to bed; why now?
Some states have been pushing legislation that requires better proof of birth in order to be on the ballot. That may be part of the reason. I still can’t figure out why he didn’t release his certificate during the campaign though if he had one.
It will look bad if those states back down on that legislation now. I personally believe that given a constitutional qualification, there should be a mechanism to confirm that the constitutional requirement is met.

On the other hand, a military officer can not refure orders. If the legislature and judicial don’t contest the qualifications then the person is in fact president. The recourse for an ineligible president would be the supreme court or legislature to refuse to recognize someone as president-though the states can have whatever requirement of proof they want for their election as we have 51 separate presidential elections in the USA.

How can anybody argue with that??
Disagree completely. Next thing you know we’re requiring the same of the VP, S of T, etc. etc. 30 years from now we’re requiring all CEOs of big businesses.

There are plenty of powerful people in the world, it’s a slippery slope and releasing all private information is not something I’d endorse.
You don’t think that the public should have access to things like his medical and school records?
Not by law. We can ask for it, and we can ask why he won’t show it as an election issue.

He just might get another four years, I mean, we were shit stupid enough to elect Bush for a second term, right? Let me ask you this; if I was applying for an EMT job, should I have the right to not show my actual current license? Being a natural born US citizen is a requirement for the office of the president, get over it.

How terribly racist it is for me to ask a black man to comply with the requirements of the job, just like his white counterpart did. /sarcasm

A short form certificate of live birth could be issued in hawai in 1961 for an un-attended birth. All that was necessary to get one is a baby and for the parent to claim that’s where they were born.

It is not proof. The long form has things like hospital and doctor signatures that is actual evidence of his birth there. Which is why the long form has been demanded by so many.

The short form is not proof he was born there. Idiots.

Family members claiming it. Having non-American parents. Yes, he did, but it doesn’t matter because it is his responsibility to prove it, which he hasn’t done till now.

Just let this issue fucking die already. Let’s aim our attention at the Fed press conference today. Lets look at the fact the bond market is closing early today.
