Anyone from Canada has had problems with customs getting Biotest products up here?
I had some MAG-10 seized back in the day. Since then, no issues. I just received 2 bottles of HOT-ROX Extreme this week. So, I celebrated and ordered 2 more

Great, I figured as much. Ontario is good for getting stuff. MAG-10 used to get across all the time. So for my next cut hopefully I’ll be getting some HRX. Alberta isn’t so great I’ve heard, there are a few guys on here from AB. PQ, I haven’t heard anything. I’d guess that most product would get through.
Current Biotest product that would be problematic is anything containing Yohimbe. Everything else should be ok as far as I can tell. I’m no expert with Canada Customs, just guessing, because as we all know logic is outta the question with the goverment.

Not really, as Mag10 hasn’t been available for a while. It being a pro-hormone/steroid type product. The rest of the line should be ok. If they do keep anything it will be HRX and possibly Spike but I doubt the RCMP will be calling ya. But hey ya never know.
I know I can purchase Nutrex Lipo 6 off the shelf tmo if I want, and that contains Yohimbe. So it’s hard to say exectly what would happen. I don’t recall anyone here saying they couldn’t get product through. I know I’ll be ordering HRX when the time comes.

For sure, you can buy all those products except the BCAA’s here now. You can get BCAA no prob just not the Biotest brand yet. Just order here. I’m guessing that since you asked about creatine getting across the border that you’re really new to this. T
here’s a ton of info here, so get reading. Check out your local store to see what kind of products they carry to give you an idea of what’s available.
The main difference between what we can have and our friends south of the border can is pro-hormones/steroids. Everything else execept a few things, like Yohimbe as I mentioned and Acetyl-L-Carnitine is pretty much available. You’ll even see ephedrine on the shelf here.
Biotest is very high quality and they have some product that no-one else does. You get what you pay for so buying 5lb tubs of protein for 35$ won’t be too effective. Again, read and learn as much as you can.
I’ve never had any problems even with HOT-ROX, with usps the duty taxes are not as bad as it was with fedex, back then with fedex I ordered HRMS and with the conversion, shipping and duty taxes it was close to 90$ can a bottle now it’s much better with usps. hope it helps

Biotest’s 5 lb tub of protein for under $35 is a steal. The quality’s fine and the price is fantastic. 
I’ve had two orders come through now, and no problems. Whey, ZMA, Spike, TRIBEX, Rez-V, creatine, and Flameout. It’s all good.
That’s not to say that a panicky pencil-neck at customs won’t seize it and give you an irrate phone call – but if they do, you’re clear. These things aren’t banned substances. If a grab is made, then it’s just some poor, ignorant skinnyfat pencil-pusher acting out of ignorance.
I’d be more worried about Canada Post losing the package.
Customs checked my clenbuterol order (it was clearly labeled too) and let it through. It’d be pretty amazing not to let in Biotest products.

You’re correct of course I should have been more detailed. What I meant was 35$ canadian, since that is what he will be paying in. Grow! will cost more than that by the timne it arrives at one’s door. I haven’t orderd one yet but I’d guess it’d be closer to $45 with shipping, exchange, duites and taxes. Still worth the money. The dollar is over 90 cents now so this is a great time buy US products. Most 5lbers are low quality. Thanks.

I threw the quote in as a tongue-in-cheek thing. I didn’t think for a moment that you were including Biotest’s Whey in that accounting. We all know that the products are so cheap because we’re not paying retail mark-up.
I’m a cheap bastard. I hate spending money when I don’t have to. With our current exchange rate, Biotest’s Whey comes out to around $33 Cdn, plus $9 and change for shipping and handling when done through USPS.
The cheapest protein I can get in a store is Optimum Nutrition’s, for $45. It comes out slightly less, though less convenient to get. On the other hand, since I buy several Biotest products at once, it effectively comes in a few dollars cheaper.
Biotest pretty much got me as a regular customer with TRIBEX and Flameout. With the cheap whey the bastards damn near own me.

Actually the Canadian version of lipo6 has now been reformulated and the yohimbie has been removed. Same thing was done with tight. We just sell the US stuff in the store that i manage as its still a much better product.

Great thanks, so what would you end up paying by the time you got a 5lb Grow? $42 or are you still being hit with GST and dutie on top of that. I figure that the best thing to do is order a couple months supply at once, sounds like what you do.

I know they did that with tight, the Lipo 6 still has the Yohimbe. I figured we’d get screwed on that. It’s funny but the same idiots that ban yohimbe don’t have a problem with tobacco products, which but Health Canada’s own #'s kill 40,000 canadians a year. All money related of course, the coin made of taxes is crazy.
I ordered HRX before from T-Nation and I received it no problemo.
This week I wanted to order some from bodybuilding.com - they had a special on HRX that ended august 31st. Well they didnt want to send it as they warned it was a banned substance here…
BB.com has lower shipping charges so I was POed. I’ll try again from here and risk it.

When the package arrived I’d been awake for two days, so my memory of it is pretty fuzzy… but I think shipping came to just under $10 in total. In that shipment was a 5lb tub of Grow!, two bottles of TRIBEX, two of Flameout, one of Rez-V, and the mini-pack of Spike. I’m not sure how much it’ll change the cost if you order a couple tubs of Grow! at once.
