Biotest Supplementation for Marchers

Hey CT! I need some advice on the right supplements to order.
I wanted to try and get more out of my training and my recovery while I am in marching band this year.

In about a month, my weekday schedule will look like this:
7:00am - Wake up and eat breakfast with family
12:00pm - Eat sack lunch at school
3:00pm - School day ends
3:30pm - Marching practice begins
5:30pm - Marching practice ends
About 6:00pm - Arrive home after putting up and get my workout in
About 7:00pm - Eat dinner (post workout meal) with family
10:00pm - Bedtime + protein meal

I don’t have a ton of money, but I can afford to order at least one of any one kind of supplement Biotest has available (so around 80 dollars). Here is a ROUNDED chart of some (not all) of the Biotest stuff in order of lowest price per serving to the highest:
Curcumin: $18 - 40 servings (3 a day) = $0.45/serving
ZMA: $15 - 30 servings = $0.5/serving
Carbolin 19 19: $30 - 60 servings = $0.5/serving
Power Drive: $20 - 31 servings = $0.65/serving
Z-12: $28 - 40 servings = $0.7/serving
TRIBEX: $35 - 37 servings = $0.95/serving
Superfood: $30 - 28 servings = $1.07/serving
Metabolic Drive: $36 - 31 servings = $1.16/serving
Rez-V: $24 - 20 servings = $1.2/serving
Alpha Male: $50 - 37 servings = $1.35/serving
Flameout: $33 - 22 servings = $1.5/serving
Surge Workout: $43 - 24 servings = $1.79/serving
MAG-10: $70 - 28 servings = $2.5/serving
micro-PA: $65 - 20 servings = $3.25/serving
Plazma: $70 - 20 servings = $3.5/serving
Indigo 3G: $55 - 15 servings = $3.67/serving

Should I try and just get the best peri-workout protocol I can get? If so, what should I order and when should I take it? Before practice or right after/before my workout?

Or should I focus on recovery? Maybe get some Flameout, curcumin, etc? Believe it or not, marching + school + training 7 days a week is incredibly draining and stressful. Training that frequently boosts my mood and relieves so much stress though, so it’s definitely worth it to me.

Or would I be better off with an all-around, cheaper stack? Something like Metabolic Drive pre-workout and Power Drive post workout?

Thanks to anyone that can help!

For my money, always start by optimizing peri-workout nutrition. The next step would be to add protein pulsing with MAG-10 2-3 times per day. Then if you want to add more stuff, you can add speciality products to fix the most important issue.

I’ll get back to you about the proper use. But if you are training a lot, then I would suggest investing in peri-workout nutrition.

How would you recommend going about it? I know you guys recommend using Plazma AND MAG-10 in one protocol, but I don’t have enough for both. I’ll be able to afford another bottle of whatever you recommend by the time I run out of one.

And thanks for the speedy reply.

Update: I ordered 1 tub of Plazma - my first Biotest product ever!

I left Customer Service a voicemail letting them know that I had ordered it and was pumped to get my hands on it!

It’s kind of a weird schedule, although you have a break between the end of your practice and your training session it basically makes it a 3-4 hours training window.

My recommendation would be to take 1 dose of PLAZMA prior to band practice, 1 dose between the end of your practice and your training session and 1 dose during your workout.

If you have the funds, I would add one serving of MAG-10 about 15-20 minutes after your workout, prior to eating.

Thank you for all the help! I very much appreciate it.
Keep on lifting!
