Billy Jean King? Steroids? That’s a laugh. The only female tennis player that has a body that remotely looks like she may have used steroids is Serena Williams. But I still doubt it.
Most tennis players are using, because it gives them an oportunity to recover and compete every weekend to win more money.
It’s like anthony roberts, just because he uses a ton of steroids doesn’t mean he’s going to be huge.
I really don’t care if she’s using steroids or not though.
I don’t care any more or less than for any other sport. But I have to wonder what Maria Sharapova could be taking and what her diet looks like to still look like she does given her training regimen. If anything, it must be a very low dose like some of the fitness competitors to give a slight edge.

I DO think the Williams sisters are juicing BIG-time. They’re not just cut and muscular, they’re BIIIIIIG (and cut).
I bet there are some gigantic clitori on those girls.

No, no, no. sighs Ive watched these girls long enough in tennis to know that Serena is all natural booty and strength, just look at her arms, its normal female muscley-not the steroidy Marion Jones muscley (well, before she got busted, that is).
She just was made with more muscle than normal girls. Go watch some shotput throwing in any D1 school, you’ll see natural women that are even bigger than her. Seriously.

Pretty sure Marion Jones was cleared. Ya know, don’t be spreading unsubstantiated rumors, it’s kind of not cool.
The real question is, why aren’t people laughing at these tests now? That brings into question EVERY athlete who has been found guilty and had actions taken against them. So why are people still testing these athletes to this degree when drug use isn’t new and the tests are faulty?
I feel sorry for her because her name has been dragged through the mud even before they finished testing her. People will always label her now and every sedentary dumbass will now relate any woman with more muscle than average with drug use.
I don’t really see it in Billy Jean…I mean, she’s not much of a looker IMO, but if you want hardcore masculin facial features on female tennis players it’s hard to go past Mauresmo.

And why is there absolutely no protection of athlete confidentiality? As was just shown, many people now think Marion Jones did steroids. Shouldn’t this sort of thing have a lid on it till they are SURE the athlete used banned substances?

Please tell me you’re joking.
Tennis is probably the sport that has cracked down the most on steroids out of any pro organization in the last decade. Players are tested overva dozen times throughout the year radomly, and one bust is enough to effectively end your career (see Guillermo Canas). Hell, Mariano Puerta (2005 RG finalist) got banned for taking asthma medicine. So no, tennis players are not doping at all. I mean really, does she look like nicole bass?
If guys are now so weak and frail that they look like this as a GOAL, it doesn’t surprise me that many women who are athletic now outweigh them. To some kid that small, I suppose the Williams sisters must look simply MASSIVE.
It isn’t the they are so muscular as to be suspect, it is that guys are now just that weak.

I’ll back up julia on this. Although they are far from common, I was fortunate enough to have met and “carried on” with one such female about 9 years ago. She was 33, I was 24, and she was a ballet/modern/ethnic dancer.
Although ballet dancers are pretty well-toned (their legs, anyway) to begin with, this girl was a few steps beyond that. She had a much more balanced, well-muscled physique and never trained with weights! If she had actually been trying to build muscle; holy shit!

In a nutshell, her B sample came up negative. In that case, the tie goes to the runner.
oooh, i see… Interesting.
Not only was the B sample negative, but she had tested positive for EPO, never steroids, so you were wrong to begin with. If this mistake was made on these boards, that leaves little hope for the general public.

wow, didnt know that was hard core.
And I wasnt rumoring that Marion did steroids, its fact.
I wasn’t accusing Amelie Mauresmo of taking steroids, and her face may not be that ‘hardcore’.
But I think, with the strong jaw line, prominent and high cheeck bones etc, it’s actually gotten to the point where I wouldn’t pick her as a female just from the face.
