If you’re laughing that hard at people working out, trying to get fit and losing the equivalent of a miniature horse in body fat, you probably are a dick.
I agree. People just plain bitch too much. They bitch if fat people don’t do a damn thing but get fatter and they bitch if a show has fat people working their fat buns off to get leaner. Gotta critique this about the trainer or that about the trainer. Who gives a damn, they have these fatties working and moving and learning how eat better. Good for them I say.

I’ll admit I’m a dick. but I’m not laughing at the fact that they’re actually doing something I think that’s great that they’re showing people they can make a change. I laugh at the level of bitching and whining and the patting each other on the back crap.
As much as you may want to knock it…These contestants are all losing 100-200lbs, or more, of fat over the course of a few months. They are probably making more progress towards their goals than half the people on this site.
i would like to know how a 300-pound contestant’s knees hold after tromping on a treadmill all day long. these trainers aren’t concerned about the health of the contestants in the future. they are good about getting the weight off, but they don’t care what kind of weight it is or the joint problems that will by created with their drive-by workouts.
I think the most bizarre part is that they have one of these in Sweden.
Anyone else read the Paula Nordine article and think ‘there are words on this page!’ and then read the words and think ‘there are fat people in Sweden?’

Anybody remeber those 2 twin brothers a few seasons back who had pretty jacked arms at the end of the show
my uncle has been best friends with those guys since they were kids.

Fuck fat people. They’re a fucking drain on the healthcare system and the environment. I recommend running them all over with Hummers and F-350’s.
Okay so how does this happen that 4 or 5 or 6 or whatever weeks into this thing, that those folks are losing 10 and 15lbs a week? It can’t be all water weight. Wouldn’t they have lost he water weight in the first week?

It is just insane to lose 100lbs in 6 weeks.
Nice bump.
I don’t think it’s absurd to lose 10 to 15 a week when you’re still well over 400 lbs. That being said, I think that there’s a lot that we aren’t shown about their caloric intake and assigned independent work outs – they really only show “last chance workouts” and weekly challenges, but I’m pretty sure that they give the contestants a caloric “burn” minimum to achieve everyday and give them sample workouts to reach said burn.
On a side note, have people noticed how sneaky the product plugs have become?

Well I saw an episode where they were expected to burn 600 cals a day and they were only taking in 1200cals a day. That just seems INSANE!
I would have a headache and no energy and talk about pitching a bitch-fest, I may even kill someone under those circumstances.

Do you mean Michael? The one who created the teams? Did you see him in his old pics!!! wow… what a difference.
and yes… Biggest Loser is a huge commercial for products.

Yes Michael, that guy has gotten on my nerves the whole season, from being lazy in the beginning until choosing the teams, he just annoys me.
I saw the one old pic where he was 301lbs, he looked kind of skinny at 301, must be really tall.

Yea, that’s getting really freaking old, almost to the point I don’t want to watch the show, thankfully I DVR it and FF through most of the BS.
Anyone else want to punch that Italian prick in the face? What a D bag.
The only reason I think he’s a jackass is because he went all used car salesman with his decisions … Come on, you played the game holmes, don’t think these people are stupid … but it was funny he stacked the deck in his favor and his team still ended up losing … He’s lucky he lost so much weight or his fat ass would’ve been working out at a local gym
