I think she forgot to say stiff legged…

I think she doesn’t know the difference.

Does it look like she deadlifts a lot? I think she’s more into bridges and kickbacks. The show is 15 years behind in every aspect of fitness,IMHO. Bob still swears by anything low-fat in his ‘‘trainer tricks’’ spots.

That said, it’s still very entertaining to see a bunch of fat ass melt down to retake human form…as a former fat ass, I just loooove it![/quote]

Its funny how the show has changed over the years, in the first 2-3 season they were stressing the low carb diet and eating large amounts of protein to maintain muscle after that is when the show starting becoming biggest pimp and running commercials by the trainers. It became more about marketing than really teaching people how to lose weight. I still watch but roll my eyes a lot of the time.
Did anyone see the results from this week where the lady was leg pressing her kid but the leg press had NO weights on it, solid training.

The way that these people train will be completely different than our own styles. When a human gets that fat, doing any amount of anything extra, or imroving eating habbits even the slightest amount, will have profound effects on they’re physical apprearence.

I’m not unhappy that chickie is gone. She was just totally leaning too much on her partner. Talk about a codependent personality.

I fucking love this show. Yes Bob is skinny, yes the product placement is gratuitous at best, and yes the protein powder and weight loss pill they endorse are AWFUL, but these people are losing insane amounts of weight.

I’m all for turning this thread from a “who hates biggest loser?” thread to a “who watched biggest loser last night” thread.

Also Coach Mo is my hero.

I like watching the show when I can
Anybody remeber those 2 twin brothers a few seasons back who had pretty jacked arms at the end of the show

I just started watching this season, got pics?

This?

I like the principle of the show, but from the little of it I’ve seen, the exercise/nutrition aspects are all meesed up. Do they still do counseling for the fatties, or was that a different show.

If this is the show I’m thinking of, then the shrink seemed to help more than any of the trainers.

They don’t have a shrink on this one, but they did on Celebrity Fit Club and Diettribe… k I might be addicted to these shows.

Note to anyone wanting to do plyometric box jumps… pick up your fucking feet when you jump!

omg are you talking about that beyond stupid woman who couldnt jump onto that small platform? I actually wondered if she was serious after i watched her try for 10 mins

this show = pure comedy gold
i can’t watch this with people around because i laugh so much and then feel like a dick

If you’re laughing that hard at people working out, trying to get fit and losing the equivalent of a miniature horse in body fat, you probably are a dick.

yah I don’t get the humor either. At least these folks are out there trying.

It’s the obese folks having to use those scooters that give me pause. I don’t laugh, but I do shake my head.

I agree. People just plain bitch too much. They bitch if fat people don’t do a damn thing but get fatter and they bitch if a show has fat people working their fat buns off to get leaner. Gotta critique this about the trainer or that about the trainer. Who gives a damn, they have these fatties working and moving and learning how eat better. Good for them I say.

I’ve never seen the show but have heard it talked about many times. Uhhh, what channel is it on? Day/time? lol

True, this show inspires a lot of people to get off their ass and lean up.

Tuesday night 8pm PST on NBC.

Tonight should be interesting, each contestant goes head to head with someone from the other team. Whoever loses a larger percentage compared to their opponent wins.

Watched the entire last season with the gf and went nuts on things they did/say. Like one guy saying there was empty calories in Virgin Olive Oil. However, Bob quickly gave him a education that olive oil is full of good quality fats.

Haven’t seen a episode yet this new season. I remember they had like a team of 6-8 people may be less and had to bike an entire 24 hours with the team that traveled the farthest won immunity! I was speechless in making them do that.
