william wallace is scottish BTW!

What are you guys? Cavemen? Who are you trying to impress with the street fighting? The local crack ho, maybe?

You put a non trained 250lbs bodybuilder in the ring with a 180lbs well trained fighter and I would bet on the smaller one.

Put a well trained 250lbs fighter in the ring with that 180lbs guy and I’ll bet on the heavy one.

In every strength related discipline there is a rule: more mass = more muscles = more strength.

Since when does a 150lbs weightlifter lift more than his 300lbs counterpart?

Get over it.

And do some squats instead of watching your spikey hair in the mirror. Twats.

I’ve had several conversations with people regarding boxing and they all seem to think that when a boxer gets into a street fight he is going to dance and slip punches while jabbing and moving. That type of movement is only necessary when facing an equally or near equally skilled oponents. Any trained striker is going to have an unfair amount of speed and power compared to an untrained fighter. Throwing a few combinations in successions is usually all thats needed (unless they’re one hitter quitters) and thats all she wrote.

I remember talking with my cousin and she was saying how 50 Cent had made a comment that if he ever saw Oscar Delahoya in the street he would be sorry. I laughed and said Oscar would wipe the floor with him. She disagreed and said 50 Cent is too buff for Oscar and Oscar would try and dance around while 50 would be throwing punches. LMAO… That is one fight I would love to actually see and take bets on how long it would last, I would say 20 secs at most.

Well… your cousin probably didn’t know it but 50 was a Golden Gloves boxer in NY back in the day.

Not that he’d win against DLH, who’s a tough son of a bitch, but just sayin 50 knows his way around a ring.

I don’t know, but the amount of boxers that have absolutely murdered cats in streetfights should give people an inkling that they’re excellent streetfighters.

Arturo Gatti, Kelly Pavlik, Mike Tyson, Zab Judah, have all gotten into some shit and really fucked guys up.

The famous Boston crime boss Whitey Bulger always had his muscle guys being former boxers… Kevin Weeks, I believe, was New England golden gloves, and he wrote alot in his biography about busting guys up in less than two punches when they owed money or caused trouble.

It doesnt matter if he was a professional boxer back in his day, even a mediocre pro boxer would get murdered if he were to fight a champion level fighter. I have a friend who is quite an impressive professional boxer. Not to long ago Zab Judah visited the gym and sparred with him, Judah made my buddy look like an idiot. He wasn’t even giving full effort and he was simply schooling him. Granted this is in a ring, but by the way the sparring session looked a street fight wouldn’t have changed a whole lot. My buddy simply could not hit him and when he did it was a grazing blow, nothing solid. Anyone who thinks they have a chance at defeating a champion level fighter in the streets is dreaming, unless they are a champion level fighter as well. Then all bets are off.

Oh I completely agree. I was just saying.

So your point is that street fighting is only useful if you’re trying to impress crack hoes? Interesting theory, but I don’t think you took in the variable that you’re an idiot, which totally throws off your calculations and causes you to derive a false conclusion.

Congrats you’re not a complete idiot.

Dammit! You are an idiot afterall. Well trained small guys beat well trained big guys all the time, do the big guys have an advantage yes, do they always win, no. Has this already been stated, yes. Do you sound like an idiot for reemphasizing a dead topic, yes!

Who said that a 150lb weightlifter can lift more than their counterpart??? Not sure where that came from, Carnage was right about all the straw men around here. Stop building straw men only to tear them down to make your point. It makes you look… Well… Like an idiot.

I watch my spikey hair while I’m squatting actually. I find it more efficient this way.
