Big, Strong, Badass... Yet Sexy

Just nuked the balls, didn’t even feel a tingle. This thread is pure gold although a lot of it is common sense I would think

Yeah just follow the directions though. I was really scared after reading all these links online about people crying, screaming and shit after putting this stuff on their jawnks. I did feel a slight tingle after 6 minutes but that was as I was taking it off. It works really well and can’t believe I didn’t find this stuff sooner. It shouldn’t really have to be said but if you have sensitive skin, don’t use it.

When using a lufa, should you put the body wash on your body and then use the lufa? or just put the body wash on the lufa?

I usually put the body wash straight onto the loofah and run it under my shower head for like a second to get it to spread throughout a bit. It helps to get a nice lather going. I think most people do something similar.

Btw, just as a heads-up, this is not the type of loofah that you want to buy. It has it’s own purpose, but it doesn’t get the soap into a lather for regular cleaning, so it’s more for a serious scrub down, which I don’t personally do. You want one of the softer types of loofahs that are spherical. They really help with soaping up.

^that’s not a lufa, that’s a sponge.

Lufa’s are awesome, I recommend them!

If you’re referring to the image, yes. It’s just that when you Google image loofah, you get mostly pictures of those. This picture in this post is the kind of material I think most people in this thread are referring to when they say loofah.

a lot of great info here. just wondering where everyone stood on electric razors just for use of the face, and what models they recommend. i had a norelco 8510 xl until my drunken roommate broke it, and was thinking about straying from a rotary and trying a braun or remington model.

This might be obvious, but it all depends on the look that you like. If you like to be completely clean-shaven, it’s not the way to go. I like having a little shadow, so I recently went electric. I don’t use a buzzer made specifically for the face just yet, but only because I can’t find one with consistently good reviews. The Philips ones look really nice, though.

My dad has a Philips and I love it. It cuts pretty well and keeps battery life very well. All in all, great buy I would say

I’ve got some pretty bushy eyebrows that probably need to get trimmed up here pretty quick. Any suggestions on how to go about this? Anything that I should try and steer clear of when I do it?

You could cut them yourself if you want, but I would just go to a good salon and get them done if you don’t wanna risk making them look odd for a few weeks. Make sure it’s a good salon, though. If you go to a cheap salon, you’ll end up looking like a cheap ghetto girl. Make sure you explain to them that you want them to look masculine, but clean. You really need to drill it into them, btw, or they won’t listen. The one time I went to a salon instead of getting my mom to do them (She used to work in a great salon), they came out looking extremely feminine, despite my having told the woman several times that I didn’t want that to happen. I ended up buying castor oil to make them grow back quicker as I was paying. I really shouldn’t have tipped her, but I did. I have no idea why. Make sure you get them plucked, and not threaded, as they have better control over your look this way. Waxing is even worse, unless you want them to look waaay too “perfect.” I think they make you look rather fake, tbh, so not perfect in my eyes. If you just wanna trim them, buy a special pair of scissors for it from Sephora, brush your eyebrows in an upward direction, and clip off any hairs that extend above where your eyebrows should be.

I agree with this, this is good advice…

You don’t want them too groomed, you just want to clean them up so you can tell you don’t have a Predator hiding in them. So if you see stray hairs that clearly don’t belong, I would yank them. Follow the natural curve of the eyebrows. If they are bushy, you can trim them with scissors, be careful as you have a sharp tool near your eyeball.

That scissor idea was pure gold! For real though, awesome.

Does anybody have any hair growing advice? I am attempting to grow a mullet as we speak and am getting a wee bit fed up with my lack of long locks. I’m taking a B-vitamin complex and conditioning daily along with a lot of water and stuff like that

LOL, are you serious?

Assuming you are, quit using silicone based hair products and conditioners. Most products you find in the stores leave residue behind on your hair. My hair started growing much faster when I quit using those products. I’d recommend using Lush solid shampoo.
http://www.lushusa.com/shop/products/hair/solid-shampoos/squeaky-green

The squeaky green one will last you at least two months if you wash your hair every day. It lasts me three months and my hair’s down to my mid-back. The other shampoos are good too but they won’t last as long so it can get a little pricey.

Their veganese conditioner is nice too but I only use conditioner about once a week anymore because I just don’t need it.

If you use hair gel or other product, wash it out every night or that shit will build up and slow down growth.

Any home remedies out there for athlete’s foot? I get that shit bad sometimes when it gets really hot and my shoes get damp. But that Tinactin shit can get expensive when I start blowing through several cans a week of it, and it doesn’t seem to work that well anyways.
Athlete’s foot starts with bacteria, obviously. Most of it comes from dirty shoes, which are dirty because of bacteria that are in your socks, even after washing them. That is because your water heater is set too low. It is likely set to 118, turn it up to 130 and throw out your shoes or wash them in the hot water.

If you are washing anything in 118 degree water, or a few degrees lower, you’ll know from science class that 115-118 degree water is where bacteria actually thrives the best.
Alternative to washing things in hot water(uses less energy too), put any clothes with a tendency to “hold the funk” (socks, t’s, workout clothes) in the microwave for a 2-3 minutes. Just make sure they are wet first.
When it comes to cleaning things, I personally am not worried about a few dollars on the electricity bill to keep my water temp at 130, because I can’t microwave my self, my dishes, and anything else I need to clean.
It’s just a suggestion dude…one that works pretty well. If you need 130 degree water to keep your balls from smelling, perhaps you could try new soap.
No, but I just don’t feel clean using cold water. Difference.

When I shave my face I get some irritation/pimples on my neck. The bought neutrogena face scrub exfoiliant, razor defense shave gel, post shave lotion razor defense…I think it helped a bit.

But the biggest thing that helped I really think is…shave my face after a warm/hot shower. Open’s up the pores and well it’s actually a lot easier to shave I have thick strong facial hair and it grows very fast. And using cold water afterwards to close the pores.

As well…if I shave my face…if I shave 2 days after where the hair is growing but not a full beard yet…I will get tons of irritation…but if I shave on the 5th day where I have a beard I will get little irritation. Some guys think it’s awesome to have facial hair…but I had a damn moustache in gr.8, by the time I was 16 I was already growing a beard. It’s not that cool lol

Don’t shave against the grain.

My neck looks like I scrubbed with poison ivy every time I shave against the grain. Don’t do it.
Shave with baby oil and hot water and a straight razor.
