Like I have said before, I easily get 80#'s out of a brutally tight set of THP’s.
Damn, I must be doing something wrong when I wrap.

I can get 100-120 now, out of basically any decent wrap. THP, Convict, strangulators, blue mamba

On a slightly more related note, if three judges sitting within a few feet of this passed it that’s enough for me. I’m sure as hell not capable of making a better judgment off a crappy video from a bad angle.
true enough Stu, after watching the video frame by frame a couple of times, like I said, it looked a lot closer to me, so close that It seems pretty shitty of me to contradict the side judges that were actually there.

but this: there are a lot of OBVIOUSLY high squats, that people defend in the exact same way. Mike Millers infamous 1220, no way from any angle did that hit depth, and people said the same thing about the angle of the video, the side judges, etc.

Finally, Big Rob gets his credit lol…

SO I had never actually watched the 1220 video…damn. that did seem a tad high.

Oh there are absolutely gifts, no argument from me and that 1220 was definitely one of them. but that also had at least better video than this did and like you said this one was so close that i think trying to call it off a bad video is a little silly.

Now if someone standing on the sideline had called it high I’d view it a little differently.

funny I was talking to my brother about that today and that’s about what he said. The weight moved so fast and easy who cares if it was high, he had 1000lbs on his back raw! lol.

I mean, dont get me wrong, if its high it shouldnt count, but in this instance I believe even on this crappy video one can see he more likely than not hit depth, the side judges passed it, and Chad Wesley Smith of EliteFTS wrote on his meet write up that Big Rob got it. Thats good enough for me.

Seriously though, that Mike Miller one? Somewhat shady.
