Weight not feel heavy. Focusing on width of stance. Trying to narrow it up a little. Did mobility work thru the week and hips felt fluid, not ratchety getting down to the hole. Overall pretty happy with depth.
Noticed I was letting out air after unracking and walking out weight.

Beau Moore was in getting ready for Animal Cage.
He did 1900 total (knee sleeves) in 35 minutes. Heāll have 1 hour in the cage. He wants 2000 total raw (sleeves). He will work up again next week and then rest up for Arnold/Animal cage.
Took the day off so Mrs and I could meet with CPA buddy to get taxes done. Wasnāt as painful as suspected.

Thatās good deficit work. I work the Fat Gripz Extremes in at least once weekly for an exercise. Lately Iāve been using them for the OHP. My wife and I just did our taxes too and were lucky to come out with only a few bruises.

Spent the last week+ feeling like crud. The cough/cold/flu has made 2 laps in our house. Havenāt lifted and havenāt really wanted to lift
Spent the day in Iowa City with some 22BB teammates, running a platform at the Special Olympics push/pull meet.
May DL tomorrow if not feeling shitty. Trying to rest and recuperate.
Weāre hosting our annual SPF meet next weekend. Will have platform duties and will also wrap some knees.
Good news is that we wonāt have to move 2 monolifts to the meet venue. We purchased 2 ER Racks. They will be used for squat and bench.
Went to the clinic this morning with nurse wife. They out us both on steroids⦠Prednisone. I wanted Test but doctor laughed at me.
Hopefully this will allow my lungs to deal with this cough.
Plates & bars moved to the venue for tomorrowās meet. Have to wait until tonite to set up.
Handling couple of lifters tomorrow.
Finally feel good enough to train. Will start back up on Sunday.

Our SPF meet is over and done. 80 lifters, 2 platforms.
Meet started yesterday @ 9am. Ended @ 3p. Awards done by 4pm.
Judging was tight and consistent. Only one who bitched was Brandon Cass. He bombed out on squats. He wanted to pull 903 and break Ed Coanās record.
We tore down when meet ended. Met at venue this morning 9am, loaded up plates, bars, etc and had it moved and put back in our gym by 11am.
Went back after watching Iowa (alma-mater) get spanked by Villanova.

Brandon Cass is an unbelievable deadlifter. I bet he beats Coan in the near future. Running an efficient meet is a blessing to the lifters and the staff, great job.
Heāll never get the chance for a 900+ DL if he canāt get to squat depth.
