Whats in the water up there in Canada? I need me some of that. Great job man, that squat was incredible. 4x bw, thats insane. Hell, you hit 10x bw. Iām sold on moving to Canada. Good luck with the 865 total!! that would be something else, wish you the best in training, you got this.
Tomorrow is a projected -64*C in Saskatoon, not even kidding. Maybe thats the russians secret haha. Ramzy you made a good call on UBC haha.
Pretty sure I commented on facebook, but its worth saying again, really impressive lifts. It takes alot for me to genuinely take interest in equipped lifting just because itās not where I focus my time, but you are proof that to be legitimately impressive in gear the foundation is build by just straight up being strong. Too many people hide behind the equipment but you certainly arenāt one of them, like many of the other top IPF lifterās who have recently competed raw.
Thanks a lot buddy. Means a lot coming from you! I totally understand how certain ways of lifting (some equipped lifting approaches) create a rift between the raw and equipped guys. That being said, if you watch all the best IPF single ply lifters, they are more than capable without the suit on and have developed their abilities the good old fashioned ways.
Speaking of equipped lifters demonstrating their raw power, everyone should watch Kjell Egil. Just unbelievable. Canāt believe his progress over the past few years. By my math I have ONLY 100kg to go hahahaha:
