You don’t have to give a sample day (unless you want to) but what are your macros and calories like if you weigh over say, 240?
265 at 15% bf
breakfast:
Spike one tab.
eggs
bacon or
sausage or
steak
orange juice
Snack: Metabolic Drive peanut butter bar
lunch:
chicken, pork, steak, venison, beef, or fish – all grilled.
rice or baked potato
veggies
Snack: Metabolic Drive chocalate bar
dinner:
about the same as lunch but no rice, potato. All grilled.
I drink 5 protien shakes throughout the day.
Creatine after workouts,
Animal pack vitamins after lunch,
I mix Fiproflax in one of my shakes once a day. It has fiber, and omega 3 fatty acids, ect.
I usually don’t keep count of calories but its around 3000, high in protien.

Could be for others, my metabolism is rather slow and my workouts are very heavy (see username) working one body part per day until failure.

I would say it’s higher than that, from what you’ve posted. Have you ever counted them?
Are there really no other big guys out there? lol
Haven?t posted in a few years but I guess now is as good a time as any.
Currently I am between 240-245 @ somewhere between 10-12% (Calipers said 8.9% but the mirror tells a different story). Current physique goal is to work on getting 240 as my new ?set-point? (it was between 255-265 over the last few years while playing football), ideally replacing 7 or 8 pounds of fats with 7 or 8 pounds of lean muscle over the next 5 or 6 months.
I have been following Berardi?s Hard Body Manifesto, eating my P+F meal slightly below maintenance and P+C meal slightly above.
On lifting days I aim for: 4000 cal, 300 pro, 250 carbs (From 1/2 PWO during lift, PWO shake after, and Low GI/II carb meal an hour after the shake), Fat making up the rest ~200 grams
On non-lifting day: 3500 cal, 300 pro, 150 carbs (if I am doing HIIT or sled dragging I try to consume all my carbs then, if I am not during any activity on that day I normally have a nice bowl of rolled oats and blueberries), fat again making up the rest, a little less than 200 grams

Do you consider 225lb big, or just over 240lb?

Cool, I’ll chime in: Since I don’t keep exact records of everything I eat a day, I estimate calories at 3500-4000. They fluctuate depending on how rigorous training days are. Protein is kept at 200-250grams. Carbs are from 100-200 depending on energy demands. Fats…that’s the vaugest. I can only guess at 50-100 daily. Maybe more, or less.
I will detail a diet log when I have met my weight I want to be at and then scrutinize the macros to lean out. Right now I’m all about getting bigger.

It might be.
No, I have never counted them.
My bodyfat usually runs from around 11 to 15%. I might need to start counting them because my goal by April is to get in the single digits, and hopefully stay there.

Just a hint, many would probably not want some 130lbs kid following a diet eaten by someone over 270lbs in full “bulk up” mode. That is one reason I would pm you how I eat before I would post it here. Too many here seem to be unable to differentiate between what a beginner should do from what someone more advanced should do.
Krispy Kremes. Lots of Krispy Kremes.

Don’t take this the wrong way but from what I see from your posts is someone who is making things more difficult than they should be for a 140lb 17 year old. In all honesty at your age websites like this are probably more harmful than they are helpful. Just my opinion…take it for what it’s worth…oh and I hope you are eating when you are reading this…and studying…calculus.

i disagree. the only part of this site that would pose any potential threat to this young mans health would be the parts pertaining to “gear”. other than that what does he have to fear? proper nutrition, workout habits, supplement info?
on the other hand it is never too early to learn how to properly maintain your body. you have got to start some time. at 27 he could be a ten year vet. that would put him ahead of most. use this time to absorb info. don’t f with the anabolics, stay natural unyil you are ready(if ever). my 2 cents.
I’m heavy but also pretty lean, I don’t consider myself a ‘big guy’ I’m quite tall and am also heavier set in the legs. But if you are looking for sample ‘big guy’ diets or potential ‘big guy’ diets. I posted a hypothetical question about mega eating and Dr. JB posted a diet that would pack mass on. I can’t seem to find it though, maybe search his posts or something.
