Big Forearms?

What’s the best way to increase forearm size? Any ideas, guys?

Deadlifts and weighted pullups seem to work well for me.

I couldn’t have said it any better…I have heard that using towel-grips on the pullups help too.

I’m with you man;)

Holding onto the bar during deads, rows, static timed holds, farmers walks, wrist curls (with a heavy weight )will add mass to the flexor (bottom side) area of the forearms.

Reverse curls, wrist roller, hammer curls and finger band extensions will hit the topside.

The thread listed in an above post has lots of stuff in it and you could also use the search function and type Roundtable - scroll through to find one on forearms/calves - again lots of good stuff.

good luck

Wheelbarrow walks. Go heavy on the weight and long on the time.
(At least this works for me…may not work for others).

Good luck.

Good tips, guys. Thanks.

Hit the grip work hard. It’s amazing how few people really train their grip when you consider how much of a carryover it has to other lifting and just general strength. Grippers, block pinches, and steel bending will all blow your forearms up.

Just be careful if you have high blood pressure, as a real tight grip will elevate it more.

Surprised no one has mentioned spankin the monkey, LOL.

Just about any pulling exercise with a good amount of weight is good. And also farmer’s walks are great too.

steel bending, rriiggghhtt. is that what you kids are calling it these days? careful with the “steel bending”, you will want to switch it up sometimes, that way one arm does not outgrow the other.my right is way bigger than my left.

Toothpicks to Timber is oretty good as well. Search for it on here.
