Big Back, Big Shoulders, Small Chest?

I think Thib wrote an article some time ago about methods for people who are “shoulder dominant” vs “chest dominant”.

Also, I see alot of guys who are have more developed chests than shoulders. Persoanlly, if I had to have one of these problems, it would be yours. i.e. bigger shoulders and back and smaller chest - more like the great bodybuilders of old.

small back
smaller shoulders
smallest chest

You have many things to learn.

I agree in the sense that the shoulders aren’t overdeveloped, but the chest is underdeveloped.

The point isn’t there, but in the sense about what he should do for his chest to reach the rhythm of development he’s having on his back and delts.

For the OP, you should try prefatiguing your chest, because your delts might be taking over on the movement. A starter for this could be to make first movement a fly variation.

As for the advice of avoid bouncing and stop 1 inch above I’ll try it to see if it works for me.

thats what i use when i need to add size to my chest.

You are 6’1" and 180lbs. Maybe you should stop trying to make this even that complicated and simply work on getting stronger overall and eating more.

This is the truth. Give advice when your big like the Prof and the others. It drives me mental reading advice from guys who are marginally above average. That’s why I love reading the alpha threads, its mostly solid gold from veterans. Its also why I can’t understand it when I see small guys complaining that they can’t post there, they should just be glad they’re allowed to read.

I’m 210 pounds and you won’t be catching me posting ADVICE until well after 250!

Ok, so that’s advice I just posted there before some smartass calls me on it. You know what I mean.

Further, if someone is going to say I am training wrong, I would sure as hell hope they are MORE developed than me and way stronger.[/quote]

no dude, you misunderstood, It wasn’t aimed at you, It was aimed at the sub 200 lb. guy looking for more development. You’ve already figured out what works for you, he hasn’t.

great quote dave

People are too sensitive, I’m sure this guy is just looking for ideas because no one thing works for everyone. There are some pretty sound established principals that are good to follow. When it comes down to it you try what other people suggest if what you’re doing isn’t working. Once you figure out what works for you, just keep doing it until it no longer works…

Personally I can relate to this guy because my chest didn’t start growing until I made some form adjustments. My shoulders were on fire with lactic acid when i did bench press at first…Now I know that if my shoulders are burning when doing chest then I’m doing chest wrong…It also helped me to prioritize incline…Even though I’ve made big improvements, I know it’s still not big enough, it never will be!

I also hate when people less developed then me give me advice, even though it may be good advice.

I do see what you’re saying.
You are 210 and for some people thats where they wish they were.
you have muscle and you gained it some how, and you’re still gaining.
maybe your training tips could help someone out there a lot.

Do you ever stop to think that maybe people are sick of YOU? All I ever see on these forums is people jumping on your dck (no doubt they’ll do it now) and backing you up even though you’re being a complete cnt 99% of the time. You’re big, wow, gives you the right to give people shit ALL THE TIME? No.

Grow up. Let’s see your little butt buddies jump all over this post now because I made a remark against the 27k post forum geek. Give it a rest.

You fail.

Lets see…

We’ve got someone here that has made great progress
been in this game for a long fucking time
is more than willing to share his experience & knowledge (for free no less, FREE motherfucker)
Actually tells it like it is, rather than patty cake people

I vote he stays, and your fat ass leaves the island, but what do I know, I’m just a nut hugger.

Where can I go on these forums to see people jumping all over Prof X’s dick? And is it an invite thing like the Alpha threads, or do you just wait your turn?

OOOHHHHH OOOOOOOHHHHH I want on them too!!! when do I get a turn??? PLEASE!!! pretty please???
