That’s them then, not me. It’s a public school and shouldn’t be used as a battleground for such a unfalsifiable question. That isn’t to say students can’t have mutual and respectful debates.

I don’t think they (should say most trans people) expect you to think they are the biological gender they transitioned to. I think for the most part they want to be treated with respect.

Seems more like you want to make a statement for a VERY minor personal “win” at the expense of a likely emotionally fragile person. that just makes the world around you a shittier place. Im a big believer in making the world around you better by doing little things.

That’s presumptuous. Also, the fact that bringing up religion bothers you, sort of proves the point. If we have to respect the religious beliefs of others (which are irrational and not scientific) then why is it an issue to respect how a trans individual feels? And there may be a scientific explanation for transgenderism.
