Sure, but many want to wear “women’s” clothing and/or makeup. Perhaps identity is better? Laundry? How about don’t forget “grab me another beer…oh and how about a sandwich while you’re doing that?”

I believe most are aware of the biological limits regarding their transition. Hence, the qualifier trans.

I don’t get why this matters? Its like getting bent out of shape for someone changing their name to something ridiculous, or converting to the church of the spaghetti monster. It makes ZERO difference to my life, and if it makes the other person happy, great.
I dont think a transwoman is a biological woman. But i dont really care either. I want them to be happy, and be cool with me… so i am polite to them, have manners and call them what they want to be called. Its not difficult.

Ok. I just refuse to play along. It doesn’t gel with my own orientation and happiness. You can get all your limbs removed, but to me you still aren’t a caterpillar (not even trans) waiting to become a beautiful but delicate butterfly.
I mean you can call yourself black, but I’m not going to call you trans black. Not you personally.
Doesn’t surprise me we want cradle to grave entitlements somehow paid for an increasingly below replacement fertility rate.

Not saying this is you, but when I hear others gay / trans bash I get a sense that they have a bit of those tendencies that they are suppressing. Obviously this isn’t the only reason people do this, but it sets off the ol’ gaydar.
One of the most American things I’ve seen. Other countries have got on fine with anti-discrimination laws. The UK has had its protected characteristics for years. The issues you describe haven’t become an issue and I don’t understand why they would.

Edit: the teacher? It’s a positive statement on an untestable hypothesis in a public school. I’d have no issue with him doing it outside of the classroom
