I was never in the military, but I generally think that it’s a positive for someone to have an honorable military history. Especially if you are going to be at or near the head of our military.

Personally I really appreciate Walz’s years of military service, and his years teaching and coaching HS football. Shows a commitment to bettering his community and those around him, shows great leadership skills, and shows a fundamental understanding of our military structure and concepts.
