Biden 2021 - A Mediocre Middle Ground

If you want to discuss sex sandals, I’m more than willing to discuss Borisov’s massive coke habit and his penchant for underage Roma girls.

Does this mean Romanian?

I’ve never heard about the former Bulgarian president being a drug addict or a pedophile.

How sure are you of this?

What’s “underage”? The age of consent in Bulgaria is (shudders) fourteen

They didn’t do this. One federal court with all Republican appointees did.

It means Gypsy girls. No he has no prove. There was a leaked picture of Borisov our prime minister in a hotel room after doing prostitutes with an open drawer where he had placed some cash, a gun and few gold bars. Guess what, rich men do prostitutes. Almost every man does prostitutes, a lot of em cary cash and guns. Now the only wrong I saw on the picture was the gold bars. Like what the heck?

But we are talking incest and drug addict Bidens here. Borisov is Borisov, an old macho fireman and body guard, who did more good than harm in Bulgaria. Sure he has he faults, but we actually improved a lot for 12 years with him. Sure the guy has no respect for parliament and etc, but the Parliament was a joke for the entire nation. The guy actually apointed another general who handled the first wave of Covid with a text book precision. I am fine with Borisov and we sure do not have the political capacity to get a beter prime minister. Every single one is a career politician and a conman and will not do anything better.

No. You know what it means. The people from Hristo Botev ghetto in Sofia.

Really? You somehow missed the major scandal when he was passed out in bed naked after a coke bender?

I’ve also attended a meeting with him back in the day when he was mayor and he made his interests clear.

Don’t fall into the trap of cherry-picking polls. You could just as easily find polls that have Biden at 48%.

Only fox news reported it seems. Gestapo will sure pay for this. Come on James.

Major outlets reported 38%. Suffolk has one of the highest reliable stats, largest sample size, and it was conducted on registered voters.

The 48% is less reliable, half the sample size and adults were polled.

Every Democrat I know that voted for Biden/ Harris has buyers remorse…and will not vote for that team again

I have formally come to the conclusion that no statistic is without bias. “In a poll conducted in L.A, 97% of voters agreed that Donald Trump is too orange”… “meanwhile, in Midland, TX - 98% of voters agreed that Donald Trump isn’t orange enough”

Every qualitiative statistic reported on the news is a load of BS, and every legitimate statistic isn’t interesting/divisive enough to be on the news.

No… I didn’t know this

Yes, I did miss this.

Don’t feel dumb. I didn’t know either.

Me too. I feel both of these things are a bit obscure if you’re not local to them.

My apologies, I was posting from my phone and I thought the Bulgarian dude posted these questions, and that he was playing dumb. My mistake.

A guy from Bulgaria poses a loaded question about discussing supposed vaccine tyranny of the Biden administration. I offer to discuss his local politics, which despite being very obscure is morbidly interesting and has a bigger impact on his day-to-day life than US alt right talking points.

I’m just calling him out on that.

I could be misinformed, but I thought the alt right consisted of white supremacist, those who advocate for political violence (like the attempted electoral overthrow)

To lump someone in with the alt right because they don’t like vaccines seems like a huge stretch.

Well, you can rest assured knowing that poll aggregators weight polls according to quality (to include sample size). The Suffolk poll you referenced even has a higher than average weight on 538. You can try RCP if you have an issue with 538’s methodology.

You’re going to have to be more specific. Multiple polls have Biden at just under 50%.

Of course methodology affects the outcome. That’s why we shouldn’t emphasize any one poll.

It’s a moot point. Biden isn’t going to run for a second term. He’ll be too far gone in terms of his cognitive facilities by that point. And, no one likes Kamala. I think she’s even less likeable than Hillary.

It’ll be very interesting to see who the nominees wind up being for both parties. I think the NJ and VA governor races showed Republicans can do well when Trump isn’t on the ballot. Whether Republicans make this connection for the primaries remains to be seen. Will also be interesting to see which up-and-comers will want to run on the same ticket as Trump (if he gets the nomination). I can’t see someone like DeSantis, who clearly has a future within the Republican party, taking that risk.

RCP has Biden 42.6.51.8; 538 has 42.8/51.6, so they’re essentially in agreement. The salient point is the crossover, and the continued widening between the 2 #s.

As Hilary’s shining example has made crystal clear, it’s the negative ratings that truly matter, and the reason for the shocking results in VA and to a lesser extent NJ.

Disapproval ratings greater than 50% send a strident message, imo.

Been saying for years than red blooded Americans want trumpian policies, not Trump.

Europeans sometimes find that ‘alt-right’ lol

Didn’t Trump come out in favor of getting a vaccine?
