That’s the point I was trying to imply - with a little effort, you can find something of a consensus.
I agree net favorable/approval is important and maybe even more important. I’m not making the case that Biden’s current numbers are good or that the trend is good.
Maybe I’m missing your point, but Hillary had better net favorable numbers than Trump and still lost the election. Better comparisons would be to Obama and Trump at similar points into their terms. Biden is somewhere in the middle.
I don’t think Biden was the reason for the VA and NJ results. He just doesn’t inspire the same intensity of emotion as Trump. Without Trump on the ballot, Democrats struggled to energize the base. Republicans also did a good job weaponizing CRT as a wedge issue to get their base out and win over ENOUGH moderates, many of whom likely voted for Biden in 2020.

Not sure I would agree here fully. Liberal policies often tend to be very popular but liberals do not. Medical and recreational marijuana, Medicaid expansion, minimum wage increases, just off the top of my head in recent years have seen lots of traction in very red states. A lot of the country even the red ones tend to like Democratic ideas more than Democrats themselves.

I actually remember cutting myself pretty badly when I was a kid and the blood came out like borderline purple… I freaked out pretty hard until my parents explained blood to me while in the process of bleeding out lol
