and we are talking abou hospitalization. Lets talk about how people are send in hospitals? Where I come from people are sent home after diagnosed with Covid. On self care. They fight it alone or get in a hospital.

I have a female colleague who took care of both of her parents (hospitalized) and her husband (very hard covid, but not hospitalized). They were all left alone in home on self treatment. She did not get it and has no antibodies. But my point is that she was their doctor, not the medical system.
Where did you read this? Did it mention what is now considered a “hospitalization”? I will find it but, I recall reading that people were being considered hospitalized when they where admitted and given fluids or monitored. It was when more serious intervention was required.

Covid deterioration tends to be very rapid
Severe illness in kids is extremely rare.
But what else would you call it? Hospitalisation for IV fluids, to be monitered to ensure you don’t rapidly deteriorate… Is that not hospitalisation

The article I read describes people going in because the had minor cold like symptoms they were admitted and given fluids (water maybe electrolytes ) no IV or they were placed in a room to monitor for a while.
The article speaks on how the criteria for what is considered hospitalized has changed. Minor symptoms is not what I or what most people would imagine when they hear reports of record hospitalizations. I get the rapid deterioration but, these were not that.
Do you know why they were sent home? Because you have the 4th largest death rate in the world and the hospitals are overflowing. That’s the reason people with double pneumonia are being sent home.
The problem is not that they are sent home. No doctor saw them, nothing was perscribed. No medical advice. Nada. That is the problem. You are sent home for a flu as well, but at least you are prescribed a threatment.

What treatment are they going to send you home with? Treatments for severe covid-19 generally need to be administered by a medical professional. If you are REALLY sick and they can’t get you in, sending the patient home with some sedatives/opiate based cough suppressants might not be a bad idea.
If you are going to die, might as well die without being in agony.
i dont know the answers to these questions. But as you said there were 18 months to figure it out. GPs were not bussy, come on. They could have been trained or instructed how to take care of Covid patients even from distance.
I dont know prescribe something. Anti inflamatory stuff, imune system boosters. Make at least injectable vitamins available and teach the population how to use them. Something, anything. Instead we saw political wars on hydroxichlorocline and ivermektin.
The medical system did not react at all. They just send home everyone until they need hospitalization. And now we are going to mandate shit, because there is no threatment and because hospitals are filling up. Of course they will fill up, when you let Covid positive people deal with the virus on their own, fucktards.
And I see the vaccine again as an escape way, rather than tackling the virus. Everyone wants the virus to dissapear, but nobody is taking responsibility. They even mandate vaccines, but neither the governments not the companies producing them are taking responsibility for side effects for example. It just an escape from responsibility.
Lets get back to ivermektin debacle. Suppose it works a bit, even some 5 percent chance for early covid. Fucking prescribe it. Suppose vitamins C and D help the immune system, fucking prescribe them…
hydroxychloroquine actually has been proven to be ineffective. Some studies even cited concomitant use in severely ill patients increased mortality rates.
Ivermectin doesn’t appear to be particularly effective either.
A portion of severe illness from covid is mediated by an overt immune response. ‘Immune system boosters’ are vaccines… Otherwise you can’t really send a patient home with an ampoule of dexamethasone (immunosuppressant and corticosteroid used to help treat severe illness)
This is very true to a degree, at least in Aus. It’s all about collectivism, however what our society perceives to be "for the greater good’ is actually quite harmful. Keeping kids out of school for years, isolating old people for years… Banning any and all social interaction, shutting down businesses for over a year.
Vaccines are, from my perspective, for the greater good. Mandating them… The mandate itself isn’t the issue I have, it’s the slippery slope associated with mandates.
To note… Without a heavily vaccinated population hospitals will fill up 100% of the time.
It is impossible to keep hospitals open and running normally when 5-10% (mostly elderly) who get infected show up to hospital.

Side effects? Even corticosteroids have fucking side effects. I have a fucking cat that started displaying symptoms of acute renal injury after TOPICAL USE.
Corticosteroids are very nasty drugs if used long term in supraphysiological dosages
Getting around the long term complications typically entails a regimen of polypharmacy, and even then you can only blunt the harm induced.

Yeah, I’ve used them for asthma before. Didn’t like them. Pretty useless when compared to albuterol (the inhaler) anyway. Either way I’m not natty.
