Biceps Workouts

i was wondering if anyone had some workouts that target the biceps cause i am looking to make them alot bigger than they are now…

Standing bb curl. If the straight bar is uncomfortable, try the ez-curl bar. The preacher curl is great isolation movement.

At 5’11 and 160 I suggest you do a bit more than work on your biceps.

Eat more and lift heavier. At 160 and 5’11, biceps are the least of your problems.

Standing bb curl. It hurts some peoples wrists, and it used to bother mine, but it is fine now. Anyway, standing bb curls are the best, along with occasional standing dumbell curls or seated incline dumbell curls. There is no need to go crazy.

Hmmm…a workout that “targets” the biceps. I’m sure there are one or two out there if you search real hard. Eat alot and lift as heavy as you can…don’t worry about any of specific 'ceps at your stage. Now if I only would have listened to that advice when I younger…damnit!!!

How come the preacher curl is always viewed as an “isolation movement”, when it’s the same “movement” as the bb curl, only stricter due to the arms resting on the pad??

Unless you are counting the anterior delt and lowback work most people exhibit with bb curls as making it a “compound” exercise. All curls are single joint exercises. So are all tricep extensions for that matter.
