Beyond 5/3/1 Ramp Question

I have been reading up quite a bit on all the different methods and variations of 5/3/1. I just had a quick question regarding the “beyond” program.

Is there supposed to be an initial ramp to at least a single rep of the current TM for the main lift of the day? So how does that work, 5-6 ramping sets up to current TM, then proceed to the prescribed 5/3/1 reps for the day? I really enjoy ramping up to a few heavy singles at the start of a training session, and is what I currently do now. (Following CT’s layer system)

Have been running the layers for quite some time now (6 months or so) and am looking for a slight change. Thank you!

Ok, after further review it appears the ramp is included in a different 5/3/1 variation, not in actual beyond program. I think??

I’m looking for a higher frequency program, 5-6 days a week. Any pointers on a good method wendler has for this?

I assuming you have not read the book. Because that’s what the book is about.
