Hi Guys,
I have been running 5/3/1 for around 9-10 cycles now and have only just stalled for the first time on the 5x5 sets but not the 5/3/1 sets. I started 5/3/1 light as Jim suggested without my ego taking over. Previous to starting Beyond 1.1 I had been doing BBB and all my lifts were going well, after starting the first week of 1.1 I have already been missing reps on the 5x5 work for the Overhead Press and Squat.
Now my question is should I continue onto the second week with recalculated TM’s or carry on,
Or should I start the first week again with recalculated TM’s?
Thankyou,
Tom
Sounds like your TM’s were a bit high. Do an honest assessment of your numbers and recalibrate, carry on.

There is no way you did the program as outlined. None.
Thank you for the reply StrengthDawg and Jim, neive in thinking I could carry on with the same numbers. It was a rude awakening especially in the first week but I will recalculate and carry on. Thank you for your work and books Jim!
