Better To Eat Junk Than Not Eat?

I often find myself unprepared when it comes to having food available. Is it better to skip a meal, or should I head to Micky D’s?

I know idealy I should have my meals planned in advance, but that’s not always the way it works.

If you have trouble putting on weight, and eat clean most of the time then it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world - within reason ofcourse.

I would however make time to prepare food for the week.

Then fix it. Make food preparation a priority. Even if you have to go to McD’s, try to get one of their healthier options.

Depends. If you’re bulking, then it’s probably better to eat anything than the alternative. However, you’ll screw yourself up in the long run. Try carrying around nuts, apples and other nutritious goodies. Hell, even protein bars might be better than junk food.

At McD’s for an extra $1 I get a 2nd piece of grilled chicken breast in my premium bacon ranch salad. And of course I go for the low fat balsamic vinaigrette dressing instead of ranch. The only drawback is high sodium.

You can go to McD’s web site, “Bag a Meal” and then customize it. It will tell you all the stats you need to know.

You can get decent fast food. Eat but be smart!

Eating something is better then eating nothing, to answer your question.

If you’re ecto, then maybe you can get away with it sometimes though your progress will suffer. If you’re endo then you should not do this UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Honestly though, if you’re not prepared, it just comes down to laziness.

It’s not glamorous, but bodies are built in the kitchen, not the gym. Train like a demon all you want, but without the right nutritional backing you won’t be going far.
